@@yvonaj3493 right, Ivona, but I can tell you that the 80's really was something special. One of the reasons was that all these new instruments came up, like synths, and that made totally new sounds possible, which allowed creative people to come up with completely different musical emotions. It' s similar to when the electric guitar came out on the 50's. It's about about one generation being better than another. Take a listen to the top 100 songs of the 80's. You will be shocked by the quality, if it is new to you. BTW I think lately a lot of great pop music is being written, finally after what felt like a drought. So it's not about me being 53 years old. It's about me liking Cole Porter and Mozart even if I wasn't around when they were. In other words, it about appreciating great music. And knowing the difference.

The youth that we never knew we had and not realized just how young we were until we look back at old photos or videos. BILLY was such a gorgeous young man. And I love how he sings this song live. they didn't distract from the original MTV version. Strangely enough their beautiful backup singer looks like a blond Wynona Ryder.

Thank you so match for informing me for the longest time after he sings the lyrics Eyes Without a Face I did not know what the chorus was all about I could never make it out they are actually saying "les vuex sans visage" which means Eyes Without a Face in French and also Billy used the lyrics from a movie that he once saw called Eyes Without a Face this is done in French with English subtitles if you ever have a chance to look for it it's quite interesting! @@JAnotherday You're very welcome. I will try to watch that French film, it sounds quite interesting. Yes, there was more to Billy than meets the eye---he read a lot and was/is intelligent. Watching this clip I almost ache for the 80s. What a great time for music! Well, at least we got to experience those days ourselves! I'm 59 now and instantly go back to 20 watching this.
