I was there then ; and I am still here now in 2022. As much as I admired Billy Jack as a sort of western version of Bruce Lee, I struggled to find exactly what he was 'fighting for'. I made sure my children grew up without these biases and prejudices. They are happy, normal and well-adjusted. We celebrate mixed-racialy wedded couples and grand-children in our family. I suppose the MAIN POINT of all these videos is to 'teach your children love and acceptance'. Just remember that vengeance (reciprocal is VIOLANCE) never will end or solve the problem. My family filed a Redress Petition before the US Congress in the early 1800's for mob violence and loss of property AND loss of lives in Missouri . Congress has yet to rule! Beware Missouri! The US Supreme Court will yet rule against you and I will come to reclaim my G_G_Grand-father's 160 acre farm. Think not? Consider the rude awaking of of RvW

ThrummerOfLove It's easy to criticize 40 years after the movie was made, but this was a low budget film. Laughlin cowrote the script, directed it and starred in it. He had little formal training. The Wright brothers made a crappy little plane, but look what was developed from their start. This "good guy" image was developed by Laughlin when no one else had thought of it. True, the "Lone Ranger" existed, the "Green Hornet" was around and "Superman" started in 1938, but "Billy Jack" was unique.
