Funny thing......John was MC at the Music City award ceremony...........Del McCoury, Allison Krause, Tony Rice, Mark O'Conner, and many others. They did Rollin In My Sweet Baby's Arms by Scruggs and Flat.........Bill is the HEIR APPARENT TO THAT LAST ERA. Seeming as Del is Bill Monroe now. hahahahaa

Just saw him live on the 23rd at Nashville and for those of you that havent seen him live yet ong you are in for a treat! His light show is out of this world and this song done live with all the effects just blow you away and he does 3 hours of straight music, the talent is on a level that you cant put a lable on!

I asked Google to tell me who's playing. Google cloud not recognize the song. I was obsessed with needing the artist's name. I had Google start song over 40 times till I remember the lyrics

I gotta love the hollow-body played on that level. transcends the "pigeon-hole". Josh Williams hit it as well, just my opinion.

Morning Bugle is one of my favorite albums ever and I love that billy is playing a song from it.. it seems though that he heard the recording and and thought “ok, it’s just one chord from start to finish” when there’s a lot more going on harmonically. But I’m really just in love with the original, no disrespect to billy and the band. They’re fine musicians
