Billy Strings plays the Johnny Horton song "Ole Slew-Foot". Recorded at the John Paul Jones Arena in Charlottesville, VA on February 22, 2023. This was the second of two Charlottesville shows.
"Crown of Thorns" is a Mother Lovebone cover. "Red Rocking Chair" is traditional, and "Tennessee" is a Jimmy Martin Cover.

Back in 1973, when I was six, Johnny Horton version was the best song I'd ever heard.

When my dad was alive, his favorite song was Buck Owens' version of Slew Foot. I'm surprised to learn that Johnny Horton covered it as well. He was also one of dad's favorite artists. Thanks for the info!
