I am so impressed with this young man and his band. They are all dressed up for their special performance at the Ryman. That is showing respect for that hallowed place. His music is a must for me to listen to daily.

That was a rip-roaring rendition of “Foggy Mountain Breakdown” with Del McCoury’s son Rob on banjo. Lester Flatt and Earl Scruggs are smiling down from heaven. The old ways of bluegrass are being kept alive by Billy Strings and his band and by the Cotton Pickin’ Kids.

I’ve been listening to Billy for about 2 years now. He seems to just be getting bigger and bigger, and he’s not even that old. Doesn’t hurt that he consistently surrounds himself with top notch musicians either. Every time I see him, every person on the stage is excellent!

Rollins,Billy is a mix flat picker like Tony Rice. He has the speed of Roy Clark. And the versatility of Glen Campbell. He has the stage presence of Dwight Yolkum . Super talented tight band, all top tier pros ! Complete entertainers . And the are respectful of the legends of the past ie the cool 😎 suits. You will get your moneys worth in concert 🎵!!!!!!!
