Character Information:
Who is Billy? Billy (Full name William) is an orange tank engine who first appeared in season 11. He only had 1 spotlight episode in the whole series. He was intended to appear in the CGI series but was replaced by Charlie. He is described as a very annoying engine who doesn’t like to listen.
Who is Charlie? Charlie is the number 14 purple tank engine who was brought to the island for shunting. He first appeared in season 13 and has been appearing occasionally ever since until the shows end in 2020. Charlie was a replacement for Billy for seemingly unknown (merch) reasons. He is described as a jokester but most of his jokes aren’t very good, some engines find him annoying.
