Your laughing fit when the chorus started was what my laughing fit was like when you were giving your "praying for your enemies" speech because I couldn't wait for your reaction when the chorus hit, lol. This video got big play on TRL for awhile back in the day. My sisters and I used to blast it in the car whenever it came on and sing along knowing we were singing it for our deadbeat of a father, lol.

When I was in school I had an art teacher that had us do a project where we picked a song and drew the images inside a guitar outline. I picked this song because it provided so many things to draw and... surprise, surprise all my classmates loved it and so did the teacher but it was not picked to be displayed in the hallway. Though my father still proudly displays it in out hallway at home.

When this song came out, I was in a bit of a bad place with my ex husband, as he had left the state and cut off all contact with our son. Watching how much that hurt my son made me understandably furious, and while I’m not the kind of person to actually wish bad things on anyone, the first time I heard this song, I did instantly think of my ex. Not necessarily wishing any of this on him, but it did make me laugh, which was hard to do at the time. And I would listen to it whenever I would start feeling particularly angry, and singing along with it would just get those feelings out of me. However, I had never seen the video before now. It really does add some more humor to the song. Thanks for reacting to this, and to the subscriber who requested it. It’s been a while since I’ve heard it 😂
