Extending the front line when your enemy is struggling to cover the extending front is a smart thing to do. If the Russians can bring up the supplies the front line can be stretched almost twice as long.

Back when 0:00 they were fighting for coke plant , I won’t dare attempt to spell the city’s name. They were needing the railroad station. They can not only bring supplies from Russia quickly now. 4:00 Now we see the delay of information we have. The russian MoD announced the control of Belogorivka 3 days ago and it was disputed by many, videos released on that day suggested otherwise. But now we receive the confirmation of the claims. Somehow logical, soldiers in battle or shortly after they gained control over a position don't have time to release videos and as long as there is a threat, its not wise to release any information of the exact position of the own troops.

I can't believe how many trenches and fortifications there are in Ukraine. If you added up all the kilometers of trenches, do you think there would be more than in World War One? In WW1 the trench lines may have been longer, but they were not everywhere.

The existence of the rearward fortifications is somewhat debatable given what we know since the Charkow offensive. Also the level of sophistication is much lower compared to something like the Hindenburg line.

Capturing Bilohorivka without securing heights around it puts Rus forces in a fire pocket, no? The same sort of "trap" Ukrainians have supposedly been falling into time and again. To put another smoler screan that shows where is that pice of land that you are analising, on the larger map. Like pic in a picture. I dont now did i explaned it wright.
