What's the difference between ECU updating and software (iDrive) updating. How to get the newest ECU firmware version.. ECU update dependencies.. How to safely flash ECU.. And more... Wow..I have been struggling with connection issues on E-series coding. You have valuable knowledge of these systems although the speed you work through these is hard to keep up without hovering the pause button. I think my biggest issue is my laptop is very old and slow. Impressive.

@@BimDoc As recommended by one of your older tutorials for launcher pro, I tried to find the software, however tokenmaster website says no paypal available. So I started looking for other options, I found Bimmer Utility. I will be more than happy if you cover the topic with Bimmer utility to understand, differences PROS and CONS maybe. Thanks in advance

Awsome! finally got lite data showing on Esys. I am sure the topic is already covered somewhere here. Where would i go for some info on how to start coding new components after replacement? I changed rear lower gate drive and the lower gate is not automatically opens. I assume new part needed to be initialized or something?

Hi Vladimir, firstly let me start by saying that this is an amazing video on how to install the BMW tools. It was very informative, and I followed it step by step, sometimes I battled to follow some of the actions you were doing as your screen was in Russian, but we managed. So now for my challenge, for some reason I cannot seem to find the ISTA P installation. Any assistance in this regard is appreciated. Thanx again for your assistance and dedication. In that vehicle you will need WinKFP to update transmission

A Quick question, as my laptop does not have enough storage (250GB), I a going to follow your steps and use an external SSD. Do I just unpack everything and instal it on this drive rather than the C drive of the computer?
