1970 se 1980 tak December ke last wednesday ke cold evening men 8 pm pe sal ke top geet sunne ke liye radio se kan lagana aaj bhi yaad aata hai. Amin Syani aur binaca geetmala kabhi bhool nahi paunga.

बीनाकागीतमाला मे सबसे अधिक गाने स्वर कोकिला लताजी के शामिल हुए पहला गीत 1953ये जिंदगी उसी की है से 2000मे हमकोहमीसेचुराके लताजी 48 वर्ष तक के सफर मे चोटी के पायदान पर 27 वर्ष लताजी रही यह सिर्फ ईश्वरीय कृपा से ही संभव है लताजी माँ सरस्वती है लताजी जैसी आवाज कई सदियों मे जन्म लेती है लताजी को कोटि कोटि प्रणाम

हम लोग 90 के दशक में बिनाका संगीत माला श्रीलंका ब्राडकास्टिंग में अपने गांव में यार दोस्तों के साथ ग्रुप में सुनते थे । कारन मेरे मुहल्ले में सिर्फ एक ही रेडियो सेट होता था।

दरअसल रेडियो सीलोन, यानी श्रीलंका रेडियो इस बिनाका गीतमाला का प्रसारण करता था। ये कहानी भी काफी दिलचस्प है कि आखिर भारतीय फिल्मी गानों के कार्यक्रम का प्रसारण आल इंडिया रेडियो ने क्यों नहीं किया। दरअसल उस वक़्त के हमारे सूचना प्रसारण मंत्री का मानना था कि ये गीत भारतीय संस्कृति को खराब करते है और इनमें सेक्स रोमांस ज्यादा है। वो आल इंडिया रेडियो पर क्लासिकल म्यूजिक को अनुमति देते थे। बाद में विविध भारती को आल इंडिया रेडियो के प्लेटफॉर्म पर लाया गया।

used to listen always binca geet mala in my school times from 8pm t0 9pm every wednesday missed my india. was stupid to come to usa with family and got reuined by my own familymembers two older brothers and brother in law. god give me blessing.

In those good olden days, in '60s, Binaka used to give small plastic animals like tortoise, ziraffee etc,. in Binaka paste boxes. I collected many of them , kept for many years in small glass boxes and latter gave them to my children. But I couldn't keep the songs broadcast in "Binaka Geeth Maalaa" as I didn't have a tape recorder in those days. Now I recollect those sweet and melodious songs of those days. Recollection of those days gives me immense happiness. Thanks for telecaster.

1954 I was only 14yrs.old when I heard all these songs and didn't think of them much. This morning(Thurs. 18.08 2016) I heard them all over again. Boy did I not fall in love with them all over again.There'll never be singers like Raffi Saab, Lata Ji, Mukesh and the like. Thank you.

I too long for those sweet songs in the morning dews they were astonishing in Radios sound, they captivate my old heart, they are so heartening serene songs for all seasons and to all times and age, I wish they were still in our AIR radio stations voicing all day long, entertaining us, it could be highly appreciated by every people, reminds us of post independent and our freedom fathers too.

I failed in my matric exam due to this Binaca Geet mala, (every wednesday-8-9pm). Manoj Saheb u have done just a wonderful thing & we all in the family really appreciate your efforts. This BGM was a life time programme to remember .broadcasted thru Radio Ceylon & presented so nicely by Ameen Sayani Saheb.Hats off to u Kawade Saheb.God bless. I still remember those golden days of early 50's.we would never miss BGM ever.
