By the way when we take borrow from another digit then it is counted as 10 not 2 because 1+1 = 10 , so, 10 -1 = 1. Example - 10 - 01 , now we take borrow from 1 , which is now 0 and 0 at ones digit becomes 10 now subtract , 10 - 1 = 1 But nice video and explanation 😊😊

Hey, in the subtraction last but one in the right side on binary division. After you borrow 2 from the first digit, then you put it on the second, then from the second you take it again for the third one and on the second one remains 1, why not 0? Because I see after you borrow 2 from the first digit you instantly make it 0. Mechanically, I have done your divisions through more easier "forms" for me but that doesn't matter as long as i have the same result as you I guess. Anyway i just don't understand that "magic" of borrowing with 2 and all that.
@josuezalazar3 жыл бұрын
I know it is a bit late, but I want to give you an example. In the decimal system, you decrease the number that it'll borrow by one and give 10 to the next digit (although you only put a 1 on the number that need to be borrowed). So in the binary system is the same, but you change the 10 to 2 because in the binary system it has a base of 2.

basically it is borrowing from 2*2^2, for better understanding I wrote 1*2^2+1*2^2 and one of them is being borrowed at position 2^1. So after borrowing it becomes 1*2^2-1*2^1 or 2-1=1. Hope this helps.
