In this video lesson, we’ll learn how to use the new Blynk with NodeMCU ESP8266. This step-by-step tutorial will walk you through the process of creating a template in the Blynk IoT Cloud Platform and write Arduino code for the ESP8266 Microcontroller. Later on, we’ll create a mobile app. Also, we will explore how to set up WiFi credentials so that NodeMCU ESP8266 will connect to Blynk Cloud. In the end, we’ll control LED connected to GPIO2 using Blynk Web dashboard as well as from Mobile App.
The Project will Break down into the Following Steps:
STEP 1 Create Blynk account blynk.cloud/dashboard/register
STEP 2 Install latest Blynk libraries into Arduino IDE
STEP 3 Write Arduino sketch to control Pin of an ESP8266
STEP 4 Install Blynk IoT App in Mobile Phone, Android, and iOS
STEP 5 Click "Add new device" and configure WiFi on ESP8266
STEP 6 Create a Mobile App with a button to Control LED
