For recyclerview you can pass the data class item through the RecyclerView adapter and then simple databinding variable assignment will do the rest like android:text="@{item.title}"

there is such an error : To use data binding annotations in Kotlin, apply the 'kotlin-kapt' plugin in your module's build.gradle but kotlin-kapt deprecated how can it be done ?

Sadly truth: Jetpack Compose will replace xml & data binding altogether. Less than 1 year I think.
