THANK YOU SIR! Greetings from USA. I lost my factory bind in the rebuild of an Aert Tech P-51 Mustang foamie with the E-Fly 2.4ghz radio. Using your tutorial, I was able to re-bind and now working perfectly. Props, and thanks again!

Think of the bind plug as a switch - its a simple loop of cable which connects the two outer pins of the battery/bind socket together. One of those is normally a "signal" pin ( white yellow or orange on your servo leads ) which carries the signal pulse from the radio to a servo. On the receiever's battery / bind socket, this signal pin is redundant so the spare pin is connected internally to a "switch" in the receivers circuitry that puts the rx into bind mode when connected via the bind plug to ground.

You may have faulty receiver, trythe exact same thing with another unit and if that is okay then the unit is okay and should be returned to horizon hobbies who will almost certainly exchange it . I have always found them excellent on customer service and after sales :) Hope that helps

I'm having trouble on binding an GR300 rx with my DX5e. It flashs quickly, i do the binding sequence on the tx, it starts flashing slowly and then out and i cant get a steady led light.

after its bind'ed, i thought always took the Bind plug out.then powered down RX and then radio. Take out bind plug.,Turn on TX,then power RX? It always works for me!!! Or is it wrong? Didn't think you could shut down your radio while power is still on the RX? . O r does it matter when you in bind mode?

is your transmitter dsmx or dsm2 or that you give them a menu may change to dsmx/dsm2

I dont use Fuby stuff, so cant confirm this sorry - Im sure they use a different system, maybe someone else can comment?
