You need to do more Binge Watch man, these are great!

This show should have been a lowbrow version of Slings & Arrows. Instead of a revolving around Shakespeare productions, you center it around Joey and the LA acting business. Sitcoms, commercial shoots, etc. There's a really smart sitcom premise in there, totally covered up by the crap they decided to make instead.

I gotta say that Brad and Hugsy are adorable together.

The subtly anguished delivery of "I grew up watching a LOT of TV!" is probably better than anything on Joey.

You can definitely tell some exec that didn't know what he was doing got involved. I remember having high hopes during the first season... and then I watched the first season.

Everyone's going to think I am crazy, but I am POSITIVE that a few months after this show ended, I saw a promo for Joey Season 3 when NBC was talking about their upcoming Fall Lineup. He had a goatee! But then after that one promotion, nothing else ever came of it. I KNOW I saw that.

Everytime I'm trying to think of Joey's face, I keep thinking of that eyebrow guy from Baywatch. Thanks Alison!

I haven't heard a lot about what After MASH was like, so on the one hand I'd lean towards that for the vote. But on the other hand the last season of Roseanne is ridiculous and the finale episode undoes so much it's just the weirdest slap in the face.

I wonder if Brad will do anything about the other Matt's venture into failed TV series Mr. Sunshine and Go On?

For some reason it bugs me a little bit how Brad refers to the Friends characters by their full names almost every time.

I know that this will never happen, but Binge Watch: Burn Notice would be bloody awesome.

Hey Brad have you ever watched the HBO series The Comeback? It was the project Lisa Kudrow worked on after Friends and was cancelled after the first season, then revived by HBO out of no where for a second season a few years ago. It's kind of like your idea of an older and more mature Joey, only Valerie Cherish is a lot more self obsessed and oblivious of her actions.

I hope enough people vote for After MASH. Just because I'm a real fan for the original (though it's better without the laugh track added)

Having the Long Beach Dub All-Stars do the theme for the show is perfect because they're the not nearly as good spin-off of Sublime.

Had to pause the video when you referred Alex's ex-husband as Reverse Flash because it made me laugh so hard. I know it's just the same actor, but the way you said it made it sound like she was married to a DC super-villain... And I started wondering what a Friends/DC TV Universe (AKA Arrowverse) crossover would look like... If actors from Friends also are in DC series, could it imply the Arrowverse is a parallel universe to the Friends universe ?

I know I'm viewing this way after it was posted (6-ish years) but IMHO if you want a really good Matt LeBlanc series try to find "Man With a Plan". It ran for 69 episodes over 4 seasons and was quite funny and (I was QUITE surprised) avoided so many common sitcom tropes such as the dad (LeBlanc) being inept around the house and useless with the kids, or the mom being a superstar in whatever she tries).

After mash is legitimatelly pretty good, not as good as the original but it had some great actors and had some very sincere moments. The way that it looked at the problems veterans have had post war was actually really interesting.

There's a few I like but to say I'm in the UK and I'm presuming we only broadcast a handful of the US's most popular shows over here, I've seen a huge amount of US sitcoms that are shockingly bad. I'm familiar with Rosanne but I've never heard of the other two (I can't believe I didn't know a spin-off of M.A.S.H existed til now). Guess they didn't make it to the UK. Why not try some of our sitcoms for a change of pace? Like -The IT Crowd or Father Ted.

"The McLean Stephenson Show" was way worst than "Hello, Larry", and I actually,-, well, I won't say that the last season of "Roseanne" was good, but they made up for it at the end, 'cause it is one of the best and most underrated last episodes of a series of all-time, so, I think I'd pick "AfterM*A*S*H".

I know it's late and rare that you respond, but did you ever get into How I Met Your Mother? I personally loved seasons 1-6 and then hated seasons 8 and 9. Season 7 was meh.

that 70's show is a show i enjoy. that 80's show was fucking awful i tried watching bits and pieces of it and i was amazed on how fucking awful it was. i've read comments online from people say it was a better show but no it wasn't. as for Joey season 2 i did watch some of it but than when it got switched to tuesdays i was watching NCIS instead. plus i also lost interest in it at some point on how bad it got. yes season 1 was bad but season 2 was far far worse & i'm going by the aired episodes by the way. though i am curious to see what episodes i did miss. i don't remember when i stopped watching it though but i think i did watch at least the 1st few i think?
