He sacrificed himself just so the evildoings of the Empress would be exposed and hoping that the Emperor would do justice in his sentencing by listening to his side, or even the two princes will speak up to defend him. Unfortunately, Fire Immortal already chose to stand by his mother and Night Immortal had to keep his mouth shut since he was one of the suspects. No wonder it was an easy mutiny for Night Immortal at the later part of the drama. The hatred for the first family had gone to the roof !!! Aside from Sui He and Fox Immortal, no other immortals sided with the Emperor and Fire Immortal during the mutiny. It was because of this !!!
