“ApPrOxiMaTeLy” 5,000 mountain lions in california in 2013, With no mountain lion seasons and with no natural predators i wouldn’t doubt if there is 100,000 today. Not to mention the wolves that “came down from oregon” and moved into the high sierras.

Wether it’s chestnuts, mushrooms or abelone if the Chinese find out about it, it will be systematically rinsed!

These episodes are old. Abalone cannot be harvested AT ALL anymore. Thanks mostly to poaching from Chinese.

Every lake in Cali is filled with Chinese, Vietnamese legal fishers...although I have seen some catch daily limit, cook them and then catch another daily limit. Straight illegal. They also go home and drop off the fish to come back and catch more.

Asians poachers harvest all the abalone because they want to make money. American poachers get too excited by hunting season so they shoot from the road or go spotlighting or hide the deer they shot so they can keep hinting

My dad had trap lines when i was a kid,we checked our traps on a daily basis,poor poor traping skills
