No, we can just agree folks talk about it so much it makes others use it. Used for kid's edutainment books, and perhaps silly things, it is proper. But font bias is a rather silly topic. If I write a academic paper on font bias, it will be entirely in Comic Sans.

I love your show because even if you spend all this time making food and experimenting with it, you can still admit if something just doesn't taste good and leave it at that, instead of hyping up something that tastes terrible

I hate that crap. I made keto recipes (keto is stupid don't do it) and the guy said every recipe was amazing but it was a horrid mess. Just say it doesn't work...don't pretend you like it so I make it and waste money on ingredients.

@@enbardis There are plenty of keto friendly dishes that are "OK". Not great or terrible, just ok. And idk whatcha mean by keto is stupid. I've known plenty of people, personally, who lost lots of weight (but of course they also exercised frequently).

@@CasshernSinz1613 he likely means the fact that keto cannot be sustained. In general, most people can't recognize that the results a change in diet will get you only stay in the diet change is permanent. Keto cannot be done by everyone, because its risky in its nature. If you are someone who is required to do intense physical activity daily, you will hinder yourself without carbs, and can even potentially put your heart at risk. Put simply, a calorie deficit is MASSIVELY easier and more tasty in the long run, with no obvious risk of danger unless the deficit is too challenging. Yes, Keto does work. But it's not the best option.

I appreciate that even when the item in question is obviously and painfully terrible, you still make an effort to make it in a way that corresponds to the show/work in question. Then you tear it down and try and find a way to make it better. (Like that episode with the disgusting Simpson caramel waffle monstrosity.) Keep up the great work!

HAHAHAHAHA! Brilliant. I thought I would have a look and see if anyone else has tried to make Carol's acorn cookies. So glad I did as I only foraged, and processed, enough acorns for about 1 cup. Thank you for posting this. I will continue my search on how to make the recipe suitable for a dinner party.

I've foraged for acorns and made acorn muffins with them...they were REALLY GOOD, but it was an awful effort to turn the acorns into meal. I had to grind them with water in the blender, then rinse the meal in a cut off foot from panty hose for about 10 minutes... Then I basically made Northern corn bread, substituting the corn meal with my acorn meal, and reducing the liquid a little. Those muffins had the best moisture and texture of any muffin I've ever made.
