Cheese may not be good for Otters, it’s bad for dogs. Best to keep him off human food. It’ll only make him fat and begging would get much worse. Soooo hard to say no to that cute face though, so good job on resisting.👍

Not just cheese. Dairy products in general. Most animals naturally become lactose intolerant after they stop breastfeeding, because their bodies stop producing the enzymes needed to break down the components. The reason some humans are lactose intolerant and others aren't is because the regular consumption of dairy products has resulted in a genetic mutation that causes the body to continue producing the enzymes even after infancy.

Fair is fair. When you cook or bring home dinner, you fill the apartment with the smell of food. You don't have to give him very much, but you do have to offer him a taste. He is a second-class person, but he's still a member of the family. He's even pushing his bowl around to try to give you a hint. It's not so much a matter of eating pizza as being included.
