While the toy does have a heavy amount of... Ahem.. Stylization to it, you gotta admit that is one of the absolute best Windblade facesculpts ever.

Considering what it transforms from, that's a surprisingly coherent jet mode. i've see bulkier from less stylized toys.

About the robot mode, all I can say is: That is one FINE fembot. That would then be followed by a WOOF. Side note: I wonder if they studied anatomy for it.

You know, I'm really surprised there hasn't been a Legacy Windblade announcement yet. I'd even go for a reissue of the Titan's Return figure since I only saw it once in the wild. I'm really tempted for this one but might just settle for the Furai model kit.

Twitch is Awkward Teenage Windblade, even using her little yellow wingalings as energy swords in one of the trailers. I will actually be shocked if she doesn't get a midseason upgrade to a full jet from the camera drone space-nothing seen so far.

I'm surprised Hasbro hasn't released a Windblade figure recently. As much as they were pushing her n the past few years, they haven't released her at all in the War for Cybertron Trilogy, there's no announcement for her in legacy, and she hasn't been shown (yet) for the new Earthspark show.

@@fulcrumagent I know what you meant but I am more concerned about the figures. The show is what it is, The first season was just her and Bumblebee dicking around trying to get his brain working again and the show didn't pick up until more characters showed. RID 2015 was an insult to Prime but the show itself was okay if you disconnect it from that. I read some of the comics and liked her in that. The combiner wars show was dog shit and anything else was just there. I like the inspiration of the design and think the character could work but she hasn't really been featured in anything lately that was any good.

I've had my eye on this figure for quite a while and have been tempted to get it. Now after seeing your review I'm going to pull the trigger on it soon. Windblade has to be one of my favorite Fembots, I just like her over all design, and while yes this figure is very 'styleized' to say the least it's done well if you ask me. Paint work is done beautifully from what I've seen, and just looks nice over all.

I'm glad to see a review on this figure. I've been considering pre-ordering it. She's gorgeous in bot mode and the jet mode looks pretty good for a futuristic/alien jet. I like how they worked the swords in with both modes.

glad to see such a positive review of her, I got mine today and she's great. I was pleasantly surprised at the die-cast joints, I wasn't expecting them. my only gripe is the general stability without a stand due to the feet, and my copy's hands that grip the swords are a little loose, but meh. ALso I died at the skit, and my copy of Windgirl fell over the exact same time Bee did, which made it funnier.

It's funny, I'm sitting here laughing because I just watched another KZfaq reviewer who always has issues with transformations and called some things loose and yet here you made this look amazing. Maybe it's because the other guy has his products go through multiple hands? 😂

I would like to point out that this toy is more over-sexualized than the flametoys model so many people cried about while also being one of the two windblade figures in existence that actually nail their alt modes.

My only complain with the bot mode is the cockpit at the back, they could've made it split and make it some type of extra cape on the back or extra wings, idk something, it just look so strange, the cockpit is *just there*

Honestly, I love the metallic red on the figure. It really pops on the figure and gives it a really nice shine. I was really curious on how well the color would look since I hardly saw decent promo shots on showz store. Glad to see it works on Windgirl. And I thought about getting her but I had already bought EX-01 Plus Mooka at the time (Nicee figure is just that good)

Her alt mode is more like Studio Series Arcee, it just looks like a robot folded in half and nothing else. Not terrible, but you have to kinda squint to get an overall jet mode look out of it.

Can't wait for my shipment of her. I ordered 2. And now I see the options for the wings with swords, I can have 1 in robot mode with 2 large swords and the other in jet mode with the other swords for wings. Now Nicee has a friend.

Well it's very clear her armor was made for the plot LOL, it's a actually very pretty figure. I prefer the look of the flame toys version but the fact this one actually transforms which has me mixed on which one to get down the line. I would get both but like Nicee and all the other 3rd party fembots in this style they are very expensive. Regardless for what it is it's an nice piece.

Hey Emgo! Did you know somewhat about recently it looks like the company, Transform and Rollout has completed TR-02, an improved version of the Transformers Cybertron Optimus? Seems like after what, 3 years since it was teased in a resin model, they finally completed it for production.

Great review!! Looking at her now, Windgirl doesn't quite fit her. Maybe Stratoqueen or some adult-type name. I like the fact she has options in jet mode and you can make different types of planes.

I will soon be adding this to my collection. Ordered today This will have a special place for me, cos like many others I chose the jet vehicle mode, the sword weapon, and the name Windblade. So even though i didn't technically design her it feels like I at least had a part in it, If that makes sense?

I just got my Wind Girl figure today, and I must agree, it is a good quality figure. But the problem in my copy is that aside from the loose joints in the wings, it has a VERY tight left thigh swivel, which is a pain when posing the figure. Any tips on loosening it?
