@@jeanrosesolero7947 I won't lie I feel like you can use any drum kit that's in your budget. To me I wouldn't be able to hear the difference between a cheap drum set and an expensive one as once you tune your drum kit they might all will probably sound the same anyways. A lot of my drum covers have a lot processing in the drum kit that makes it what is sounds like. I would say the more you spend the higher quality hardware you'll get.(better kick pedals,Hi-hats, more stable legs for cymbal stands). That's my hot take. 🔥Always remember that miked up drum kits sounds completely different than iPhone camera mic drum kits. The kit I've been using is the Pearl Export 5 Piece Drum Set with Hardware Smokey Chrome which from what I heard is a beginner drum kit at the time when I bought it back in 2015. Over time I've just added a 16" floor tom and 8" rack tom from Facebook marketplace. If you want to know where to put more of your budget you'll want to look into good sounding cymbals. You can have the best drums every but if you have really bad sounding cymbals it will be the worst sounding drum kit ever. Try taking a look on FB marketplace and you might find great deals!

Hey there! In this video my kit is a Pearl Export series kit i got almost about 10 years ago and I've added a 16" tama floor tom and an 8" pearl tom and i'm also using the Alesis Strike multipad and for my cymbals i'm using the MEINL Classics Custom Medium Cymbal Set and I've added a Sabian china cymbal. I think i need to try experimenting with the setup a bit more. I've had it like for more than 3 years, it's good to change it up sometimes
