Hello! How to store properly?

Please forgive my ignorance and possibly bad math. But if you have the front filled to 4.5k psi, and shoot it down to about 2k psi, and then add a tank with about 4.5psi, shouldn't the psi be more than 3k psi? Basically adding the 2nd tank only yielded you around 1k psi. However, if you started out with both tanks on, each with 4.5k, don't you effectively have combined psi total of 9k psi, which should yield you the same number of mags (4 per tank), with all things being equal on the tank size and air utilization? I'm sure there's an explanation for this, and would greatly appreciate this to be clarified. To "me" it doesn't make sense / add up, and thinking am I'm missing something here in my understanding of this. Thanks for the video and your time showing this...

Can I take off the rear tank when my gun is not in use? I tried removing my rear tank and it starting hissing air and didn’t stop for like 30 seconds and got really cold, is this normal?
