A 10" smoth bore choke for the AKA .496 50 multi shot would be a true game changer. -Think about a more powerful multi shot Sumatra shootings the number 6 clear venture shells... 😊

My .457 Challenger has quite a bit more power then the .457 Texan right out of the box. After a good break in, I honed and polished the barrel and found its favorite slug. It will shoot 1.5" 10 shot groups at 100yds. I have done 5 shot groups sub 1" And it will do a little tighter then 4" 10 shot groups at 250yds with zero flyers . Haven't had it out much further then that due to not enough space. It's really a hunting rifle, not overly suited for precision target but 4" at 250 yds is a dead deer every time. I am sure it could be tightened up more with a crown job and really dialing in the ammo etc. Mine loves single shot tray with a ridiculously heavy 418gn flat nose. It's a absolute beast.

I have a video from last week with my shell that has (2) 50 cal balls and the remainder is filled with #8. On ballistic gel, the shot tore up the first 6 inches and the two 50 cal balls went through 12 inches of ballistic gelatin and into a sand trap. Also, Macabe speed has some videos at a greater range and the spread is less than you would think.

@@texomaprecisionpellet7545 love your ammo Jim! Are you aware of any chokes that would fit the Zeus? I’m thinking a simple sliding mag that would hold 3-5 of your shells would be awesome. Shoot, slide it over quickly, shoot, slide it over quickly etc.

@@HugePhart There is a loaner gun in the field that will be coming to me soon so I can hone it (Make is a smooth bore). I can probably mess around with a choke adapter while I have it.

@@texomaprecisionpellet7545 yes but this is not the ammo they show.. this ammo is like meh.. and no magazine , slow reload, still capable in a long barrel but short barrel and only one shot and very slow reload. still dont get the use of this airgun in this configuration.

Macabe speed has done some distance testing and I have an article on this topic on my website. Agreed, it is not a shotgun, but it's a pretty decent runner-up.

Texoma precision pellet I get that but it’s useless with out a modified choke at the end of the barrel just wasting shoot and time yes it might be fun but couldn’t hit the broadside of a barn at 20 yrds yet alone at 10 feet so why waste your time making them !

@@Ray-ro2jj I understand that is your opinion, but the fact is, there are multiple videos online that show otherwise. The smaller the object, the greater impact centrifugal force will have on it, and yes my #8 shells do spread more than a shotgun. However, at 15-20 feet the difference isn't much and it's even less with my larger rounds (The #4 buck, The 32cal & #8 mix, and the 50cal and #8 mix). I don't think anyone in their right mind would go duck hunting with it, but the #4 buck for home defense would leave a mark and not spread much (15 or so 22cal lead balls). Do you have a Zeus 72?, if so, PM me, and I will send you samples.

Texoma precision pellet yeah I have a zeus but in 32” style but yes we can load pretty much anything in to a wad and shoot it out of a zeus lol but at the end of the day there is 2 options close or long range lol

Unfortunately none of my customers want to release their hunting videos. As I know one killed a 600 brown bear by M50. More than 150 hugs were down by S45

Agreed and done... My current configurations are #8 lead shot, combo 32cal balls w/ #8 shot as filler to get it to 550gr, #4 Buck, (2) 50cal balls w/ #8 filler, 2 versions of chain shot (Steel cable connected lead balls), and as of today rock salt rounds.
