Please make a video for buddhadeb bhattacharya.. He is an honest cm india.. His thinking was amazing.. It sector in kolkata was his biggest achievement.. But mamata insulted tata chairperson ratan tata.. After 2011 bengal has been deteriorating

Exactly.. Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee is really underrated.. Everybody talks of either Jyoti Basu or Mamata Banerjee..but people forget about Buddhadeb Bhattacharjee who is respected by a lot of people in bengal irrespective of political alliances..

By your lecture it feels like bengal is best state of india. But when I visited bengal i saw that bengal is at least 20 years behind india. No companies, poor infra, forced poverty. I stayed only 2 month and resigned from a lucrative job. God help bengal.

I am from siliguri...just 10 km from naxalbari..now the problem is not there...now in north bengal mainly bjp is ruling ...and talking abt siliguri municipality cpm....now the violence that we see in delhi..mumbai . Bangalore even kolkata...that kind of fierce violence is not evident here .....

Jyoti Basu really created a lot of public sectors though he couldn't keep private sectors. I really hate Buddhadeb Bhattacharya though. I wonder how our state would have been if we had never seen freight equalization policy of the central government. We have been robbed by our own country.

From your study IQ, came to know the other side of highly industrialised Bengal. From Tebhaga andolan in 1946 to naxalbari in 1967 it was evident that income disparity and uneven development was prevanlant in Bengal. Land Reforms and Panchayati Raj boost/transformed the Rural economy of Bengal and eradicated income disparity. Though Jyoti Basu was a reformists, never against industrialisation, could not revive the industry in his life time. Nevertheless, he served the Bengal with guts and clarity. Salute to this great leader.

Thank you for the unbiased lecture on Jyoti Basu. Comrade Jyoti Basu was a mass leader and above all a human being, who made several mistakes during his tenure. However, he made West Bengal a highly developed state in agriculture by his land redistribution. During his period, income of the farmers and teachers increased to three times than what was during the previous governments. Elections were a regular affair in schools, colleges and other institutions. Jyoti Basu shall remain as a leader in implementing democratic reforms, through decentralisation of power, throughout west Bengal in 23 years period. Comrade Jyoti Basu Laal Selam! @@souhardyaadhikari7822 In 1982, the then ruling Left Front government in West Bengal (India) abolished the teaching of English from its primary schools. Why you think I am TMC supporter? You can't justify abolishing English with any other political party's limitation or else. I have not denied the fact you mentioned. They distributed land to farmers. But abolishing english is also a fact, (just google if you comrade are not taught about that). Large number of English medium schools appeared in WB because of this is also a fact. The CPIM leaders used to send their children to English medium school or teach English by home tutor is also bloody fact. Just accept those bloody facts. (FYI as usual the left front has accepted that it was a mistake and reintroduced again). So brother keep increasing knowledge rather worshipping politicians.

@@mastertechnique2298 look, I am not supporting either tmc or cpim. I learnt English because I was sent to nursery school (because of the fact english wasn't in government schools, but don't think parents were very rich, they were just compelled to do that). Please don't compare these with other good(by cpim) or bad(by tmc) work of other party. Their owner leaders used to send their own children to English medium school. I can give lot of evidence to impose politics in educational institution. Just don't worship, check some facts. Check what was argument given when it was abolished and argument when it was reintroduced. Their gameplan was pretty clear. From a bengali film `hirak rajar deshe' I quote `এরা যত বেশি পড়ে, তত বেশী জানে, তত কম মানে', means `the more they read, the more they gain knowledge, the less they obey'
