It’s nuts how well REmakes pre-rendered backgrounds still hold up today. I’d love to see another take on it with 4K pre-rendered backgrounds. They looked incredible in FF7R.

The fan-made one is impressive indeed, but I feel like it’s rather…unnecessary, since the remake still looks damn gorgeous and holds up really well (despite dated textures here and there). Also, the atmosphere and mood in the remake is just perfect (though the fan-made recreating the more vibrant tone like the classic one is quite nice, too). Since most of the classic mainline titles have already received good remakes or is in the process of getting one, I kinda wish the team would have picked a different title like Code Veronica to work on. Now that one is in need of a nice remake and I believe this team could breathe a new and shinier life into that title! Still, kudos to the team for their good work on this project.

20 años después, y ni con el UE5 (buen trabajo de todas maneras) consiguen superar al Remake de Gamecube. Todo un adelantado a su tiempo a nivel gráfico/visual. Ya no se ven salvajadas así. Quién lo jugó en su momento, sabe de lo que hablo. Impresionante.

El remake del GC sigue y seguirá siendo el mejor remake que Capcom ha hecho. Igual se aplaude el esfuerzo de los desarrolladores independientes.

Parece que se les olvidaron recrear el ambiente de terror xd porque todo está tan bellisimo que dan ganas de verlo más de cerca y apreciar cada habitación como si estuvieras en un museo del resident evil, nose si me dejó entender. Fuera de eso el proyecto se ve muy interesante y los acabados en la iluminación texturas y modelos están excelentes. Muy impresionante el trabajo la verdad se nota el sorprendente amor y cariño que le tienen a la franquicia, espero que logren terminar el proyecto y sacarlo a la luz ya que este trabajo merece ver la luz del día.

Games that don't need a remake:

Increíble. Lo único que creo que no me termina de convencer de este fan remake es el nivel de calidez de la iluminación, prefiero la iluminación más fría de la versión de Capcom, siento que por momentos está sobresaturado. Como sea, me encanta y me parece increíble lo que están haciendo.

not bad, but there are still elements that just look better/more detailed with the more grittier lighting and atmosphere etc in Capcom's remake, altho i did like some moments in the fan remake better as well, if they keep working on it and closer match or exceed some of those i didn't like then I'd be all for it, otherwise idk if it's really all that needed or necessary

Fascinante lo visto. Eso sí, como fan he visto aspectos totalmente superiores a los originales como todo el Hall que me parece 11/10, los Hunters, la serpiente, los toques calientes en el alumbrado le sientan genial y otras aspectos que me han chirriado un poco pero supongo que estarán trabajando en ello, entre ellas las animaciones de Jill como la hiperventilación estando en reposo, bajar escaleras, el modelado de los zombies, sobre todo el de la cinematica que no me parece que sea mejor que el del remake. Pero vamos que son solo observaciones sin saber ni por qué fase de desarrollo irán, en general es el primer proyecto fan que me llama realmente la atención por lo bien que luce 👌

I would not expect too much out of it, coz I've already seen alot of developers who only half-ass their works then stopped coz of certain reasons they could make. If it's completed then It's great, and I if it not then I would not get anymore disappointed like other RE fanmade works.

La camara en el hombro no esta pensada en el proyecto general, dicen que quizas sea posible agregarla en las ultimas etapas pero... no esta confirmada del todo. Realmente espero que si lo hagan ya que las camaras fijas es lo que no me anima a probar este increible titulo.

I really hope they do away with the door opening cutscenes, I tried to replay the remastered one recently and that drove me nuts, I also like the over the shoulder gameplay like they did in the 2-4 remake’s better.

se ve mejor el remake en el gc, tiene mejor dirección de arte, el otro parece se siente demasiado amateur (algo que no pasaba en el de gc) siento que es impresionante para lo que me imagino ha de ser un grupo pequeño de gente haciéndolo en unreal pero siento que no hay necesidad de compararlo o hacer el argumento que sea una mejora

I'm gong to have to go with Capcom's remake for GCN and the HD remaster for it. Spencer Mansion felt truly uninviting and even seemed initially abandoned due to the dusty feel to the place. The unreal Engine 5 remake currently feels too colorful and makes it a bit too obvious the mansion is still being used. Not to mention some of the animations are wonky; mainly Jill's idle animation and the cut-scene animations. If those things could be fixed; then has the potential to be even better than the already well crafted Remake HD. Fully 3D rendered environments and a later option for the shoulder view camera are already steps in the right direction.

I keep saying this but they should remake this again in the new re engine it only makes sense i mean there remaking the rest so why not do them all
