Axis® AXDL-100 Dual Incubator has been designed for incubation of Self-contained Traditional Steam, ETO, Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma (H2O2) biological indicators. This Incubator has a 128x64 OLED screen which allows the following real temperature simultaneously. Axis® AXDL-100 Incubator works at an environmental temperature of 10 - 30 °C, the relative humidity of 30 - 80 % and the voltage 220 volts.

The temperature in the Axis® AXDL-100 Dual Incubator can be verified using external digital thermometers that have been calibrated for specific applications and equipment.

To break the glass ampule inside Self-contained Traditional Steam, ETO, Hydrogen Peroxide Plasma (H2O2) biological indicators use the inbuilt ampule crusher located within the incubation area of the Axis® AXDL-100 Dual Incubator.

• Directions for use
1. Connect the incubator to a power supply network of voltage. On the screen, the first AXİS® logo will appear than set temperature will be seen. If the incubator set to 37 °C operators will see “S37°” or “S60°” if arranged to 60 °C.
2. Select/change the incubation temperature using the switch button located at the base of the incubator.
NOTE: Incubator has 128x64 OLED SCREEN. Temperature, high and low-temperature warnings can be seen from here. These meanings;
LA: low-temperature HA: high-temperature
3. The arranged temperature will be reached n 1-1,5 hour. If the required temperature does not reach n this time incubator will give “LA “warning. Also, f the temperature increases more than adjusted incubator will give “HA” warning. When the operator goes 60 °C to 37 °C first incubator will give “HA” alarm than the temperature will slowly drop.
IMPORTANT: Check that the incubation temperatures the correct one.
4. Incubate at 37 °C (for ETO, dry heat) or 60 °C (for steam, plasma and formaldehyde).
The colour change of the growth-indicating medium shows a failure in the sterilization process. Please check the Biological Indicator manual to interpret results.
