What a masterpiece in the art of teaching. Indeed teaching is an art and not everyone is an artist. Mike I don't know how much I can be grateful to you for saving me multiple a times in my studies and exams. I come from a local university in the interiors of Kenya 🇰🇪. Our professors like the use of power point teaching with no much explanation and correlations which i believe are key to clear comprehension. All i can do for now to show my gratitudes is to like, subscribe, hit the bell icon for notification and commenting in the comments section down below as you always say at the end of each videos❤

I am not a medical student and wasn't interested in how the body worked until I stumbled upon these videos. This man makes it so easy to understand the mechanics of the body that now I am wildly fascinated by it. This is what good teaching does.

I’ve been struggling and frustrated to the point of tears in class the past two weeks trying to make sense of my professors lectures. How do you make more sense to me in less than 15 minutes than he has in 8 hours? You and Dr. Matt are amazing, you truly give me those *AHA!* moments when listening to your podcasts/watching videos. Please keep doing what you do!
My instructor needs to watch your videos. He had me all over the place and you broke it down simply.

Hi Dr Mike, I can't thank you enough for your generosity and dedication as your big help in every time I sending questions in comment Thank you so much for taking just 14 minutes to answer all of my questions about the cardiovascular system in great detail. When compared to two weeks of confusing lectures in class, this 14-minute video is worth every single second of your time. In terms of bridging the gaps in my knowledge, this video is the best one. In addition, you clarified plenty of confusing textbook terms for me. Just realised you made a lot of interesting TikTok clips, so I'll spend the rest of my exam prep time watching both your TikTok clips and your lectures on KZfaq again. I wish all the best come to you and your family. I'm going to spread the word about your KZfaq channel to all of my classmates because you're the best teacher ever. Because you're a lifesaver for patients and students alike, please keep up the great work. ❤❤❤❤❤👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Straight up Dr. Mike you are fantastic. Excellent presentation. Wish you were my teachers in school

You guys are seriously incredible and explain everything so well. Thank you so incredibly much. You are unbelievably underrated… definitely deserve more subscribers!!! I just don’t understand at all! Seriously thank you for everything you upload! One day notes or a website etc would be incredible if you ever have time ( me dreaming! I can dream!! I really already so grateful 😊). Silly coming from me, as I’ve actually finished my studies long ago but love to watch and refresh everything in a simple(?)/ straight forward & enjoyable manner. You are a favourite ‘tv show’ of mine! Wonder how it would have been if I had KZfaq back when I studied. I’m 36 & was a high definition student as I studied non stop and hard… videos like your would have made things even easier . Current students really should be incredibly grateful to you and I hope you are shown the appreciation you truly deserve!

I never remember a thing during lectures. I just try to absorb the key points and then go over everything at home.
@buffalobill28743 ай бұрын
Just try lots of sources. Some people converse better with each other so a lot of science and medical literature is suited to those on the same wave length but there are authors and presenters who can simplify content or word it a little differently to keep other people interested and engaged or just make it all click a little better. Every time I'm exposed to content I seem to get a better appreciation. Worryingly I do get decent marks when I don't feel confident in my understanding.
@goodyeoman45343 ай бұрын
@@buffalobill2874 Good points. I like to reduce things to their basic concepts first and then repeat it over and over before I go onto the final details. I'm in cardiac science and KNOW most teachers overexplain almost everything. A lot of it is really not that difficult.

I think so many medical students, like myself, struggle with comprehending Afterload simply because of its name. Its name has very little correlation to its definition and can be misleading given the concept of preload fits its name in a general sense. Thank you for this video! Made it a lot clearer.
