"I am the one in the video playing with plankton algae. The location is the Maldives, Meeru Island Resort & Spa beach. This doesn’t happen always. This comes in seasons. Before this was normally seen in specific islands in the Maldives. However, this year almost all the islands of Maldives have seen bioluminescent plankton around the islands. We played with these for several nights and we took them in our bare hands and walked on these barefoot. This was my first time experiencing this, and I must say it was a breathtaking experience. You should try to experience it at least once in your life."

So, for those who don't know... Please do not go into the water when this is happening. Shark attacks are more likely to happen. @chelseafuller8412 I'm gonna simplify the story but a worker found a glowing blue powder in a shed, similar to the glowing blue sand above. He took it home and gave some to his brother and neighbors. People started making items out of the powder, like the original guy who found the powder made a ring for his wife. His daughter thought it was like glitter and put it all over her face and body and even accidentally ingested some. It turns out the glowing powder was highly radiated. Most of the people that came in contact with it would die over the next weeks and it became one of the biggest radiation disasters ever.
