Agreed, it's nice to see a game that looks genuinely fun to play, i love the comic book bubbles that pop up. They look like they're trying to vary the combat up to stop the fighting getting stale too. If this comes out I'd absolutely give it a go!

Dude most AAA these days have edges made of razorblades that break into glass in your hands then explode...when we get a non-broken AAA games these days it's a fucking miracle

Actually, that's exactly what makes me worry. It's not a AAA title, but it seems to have the scope of one? It's hard to tell but it looks like there's more mechanics here than Red Dead Redemption. I just hope they haven't over-stretched the project.

AAA games don't have a big scope. AT ALL. They just have crazy expensive arts and polishing.

To me AAA just means they have a ton of money for marketing.

@Osmium _ You're aware that 2020 is over in 27 days right? Unless they announce the release date 2 days before launch, there's no way in hell it's releasing in 2020. Until halfway through 2020, if you googled Biomutant Release Date it said 2019. It's best to just forget about the game until there's big news about a launch.

@Osmium _ I'm super optimistic, I think the game is going to come out, and i'm all for them taking their time with the game. I just don't want another Cyberpunk effect, where there's a release date, or suspected release date, and then it keeps getting moved. That's all I was saying. The original release date was in 2019. Then it was 2020, and now if you look at Steam it says the release date is 2021. I think it's better for the audience to simply move on and come back when a release date exists, so that they dont get restless and resent the company. I don't think it's pessimistic to say that the game isn't coming out this month, I just think it's beneficial for people to look at what's real right now, and come back when it's time.

I don't see anything funny about that. It shows that they care about their game, and the community. They are not going to release it before its done, unlike CDPR, and Bethesda. I fully support them releasing it when they think that its ready to be put into the publics hands.

They released an interview yesterday with this same footage and it talks about the world, creatures, vehicles and character creation.

Looks more like a monster hunting and loot pinata grinding for gear kind of game now, rather than the evolving world and interactive story that they originally set out to create. There was something unique to that. I hope that this is just more about expanding the world and what there is to do in it, since we did see some different locations and towns around the map. Gonna be interesting to see how it turns out.

@@liamashburn3334 yeah, I thought the same thing when I saw it. I've been hoping to see a new, inventive single player RPG and this SUPER delivers on that. I'm usually the same way, I like to wait and make sure it's a quality product, but this is different. This game could flop in so many ways, and I'd probably still find myself exploring the world for hours.

Ive never been more excited

I saw the release date and it was the first time I’d heard of the game. U think it’ll rly get released on the 25th of May?

@@silaspankratz4662 Well they planned on releasing in 2018 first, so yeah, it hopefully will release by then. The devs said they wouldn't announce a date untill they are in the end phase of the development/they were sure it would be finished by then
