Pohatu master of Australia

Pohatu, Master, OF, STOOONEE- *cough*.

Pohatu is definitely one of my favorites. I like the idea of him wandering through the desert with a weary little companion, the Protector of Stone.

They're trying to imply that he's right handed, and only likes throwing with that arm. If we're to assume the primary colors are the Toa's "skin" and the silver bits are just extra armor, then it looks like his left arm has more plating than his throwing arm (despite his left arm actually being heavier). Story-wise, it's right in line with real warriors who prefer to leave their sword swinging arm unarmored, so they can swing their sword faster. It makes sense. There's nothing strange about it.

I think of all of the toa I'll get gali and pohatu. they are the two I like the most for three reasons 1. there is no gold 2. the masks look good 3. pohatu is Australian, gali is a mermaid

If the tail on the Skull Spider really bugs you, I find it fun to fold it all the way back to rest right over the eyestalk, so it can't even be pressed! That alongside the "back" legs being folded back help to make things even more difficult for the Master of Stone, or whatever victim the desert Skull Spiders come across!

I actually like his simplistic build over the others. I've always preferred smaller or at least, less armored/bulky characters (like the protectors). The asymmetry in the arms is probably the part I like least. He needs more brown/orange.

What if Pohatu lost his arm and replaced it with a prosthetic one, and that's why his left arm's armor is all silver, like a metal arm. That will also explain why he can't use his gear function with his left arm...

I got him yesterday, and I LOVE him.

He's equipped with the sword of good guy.

Never followed the lore of Bionicle, so I love that this guy looks most like a mecha among the six of the releases.

I think he's definitely unique in his own right, especially with the asymmetrical look working in. I lot of warriors have the same look.

I love Pohatu Master. His small frame looks super cool, and I think his silhouette implies a preference for speed rather than strength. His lack of shoulder armor accentuates that, giving me the impression he doesn't like to be weighed down by bulk. And I love his mismatched arms, I like to imagine his silver arm is a result of an accident where he was perhaps fighting recklessly and it needed to be replaced. I feel like having one of the Toa not have shoulder pauldrons is a great idea to make them stand out, and while it's a bit of a shame that his part count is a bit lower than some of the others I think he still looks amazing, and the size differences in the Toa make them look fantastic in a lineup. I hadn't heard of the way you gave him his old 'feet attachments' until this review, but I love them. I can't say I'm a big fan of the boomerangs, but I suppose they match his new 'rough Australian' personality. I think I will definitely try out the feet attachments when I next display him.

I tried flipping his function over. Boomerang chops and kicks give him a continued feel of "desert do-things-just-to-survive", which I feel is the entire point of this new pohatu design.

I miss the idea of toa having something to them other than elemental power. I miss the real mask powers, the mask of speed etc.

Sadly he isn't a kicker anymore. it was fun having pohatu kicking his cool bolder.

Pohatu's print design looks like a roadrunner!! A callback to the Toa of Speed like the original!!!

7:14 so they’re boomerangs and he’s right handed, so he’s gonna throw a boomerang, which means it’s out of his hand or his arm and then you don’t really need a gear function with it anymore because now the boomerang just goes anywhere it needs when you’re playing with him.

Pohatu has two weapons and a single gear function that is there for his dual function mode. Onua has one weapon and a double gear function for his dual function mode So thats deffinately why he has a single arm geared

In my country, all Bionicle sets now are WAY too expensive, it cost hundreds of dollars for some reason, I would like to get some, but It's not worth it!

I've always wondered.. Why was Pohatu the toa of Stone. Onua is the toa of earth.. Isn't stone apart of earth? I've always wondered this.. Stone and earth are kinda the same element. but then again, In pokemon Ground is different then rock. With the ground being the actual ground and the rock being the rocks. It's interesting.

I think that the special thing about him is that he does'nt try to do something new and innovative much like Skull warrior.

Well as for me new look of Pohatu that reminds me a little bit Vault Hunters of Pandora (the armor with a bags for loot ,very ligh so it gives him enoght protection, but dosen't slows him down, an accessories that looks like trophes from defeated enemies) makes him much more matching to he's terrains, baren desert, with no living soul in radius of 1km

To me pohatu is the most powerful Toa. First he can create sandstorms and fly with them. Second he destroys an entire army of beasts. Third he rode on an entire sea on a peace of stone. Finally he survived an AT LEAST a 400 foot drop. The final three points were in the bionicle the journey to light mini show. Edit. He also could sense the lord of skull spiders

I wonder, how would he look like if you turn the torso upside down like in the previous version?

4:07 What? His old weapons with the Nuva were basically claws which could be used as climbers or bat-erangs, so these new weapons are pretty close to that.

His build and colors are oddly is uneven. But his batarangs/boomerangs are cool.

To me because of his slim build, he gives the impression of a somewhat desert ninja.

This was my first bionicle figure but I did lose the dagger cause I lose stuff a lot and kinda sad they don’t sell them at Walmart anymore and I don’t really order stuff online

It looks brown to me, i mean, sure, they are burn orange, but you can call them light brown if you want to, it looks almost the same

I love everything about this new Pohatu, except his personality, I don't know if the Mask of Light movie goes with the comics or not, but that's the only Pohatu I really know, I'm use to him being this happy dude not this dead serious guy.

I really like this Version. The only thing i'm a bit disappointed over is the fact they didn't do something cool with his feet as it's kinda his signature thing.

Pohatu is very cool. He is the second one favorite after Jaller for me. The things which kinda suck are probably how small he is and the number of parts. I also do not like the silver arm. Kinda plain. Whatever he still is the 2nd and I customized him so his ugglyness in some places was solved.

I don't get why they couldn't have just flipped his body so the gearbox could be used for his legs. I mean it would of made him unique like his previous iterations. Imagine his play feature being that of kicking the piss out of skull spiders/scorpions? XD

I prefer Pohatu compared to all the other Toa this year. Before I only liked the Red colour Toa (apart from 2008 that year I liked Lewa). This years Bionicles have been clunky and weird. Pohatu is streamlined and slender. It makes him look fast and more deadly.
