Who’s watching this in 2020? And playing it again cause it’s free on PlayStation this month-

*PROTIPS FOR NEWBIES* *LITTLE SISTERS* In the first Bioshock it is almost entirely pointless to go for an absolute murder fest in terms of how to deal with Little Sisters. *The difference in terms of Raw amounts of ADAM is about 260.* That is almost nothing. Especially when you think about the fact that every 3rd one you save, you get a gift with a LOT of ADAM AND sometimes either a really good tonic or really powerful plasmid. If you want the bad ending, then save everyone and during the final level kill 2 of them. Bam, you got the ending you wanted, lost about 100 ADAM, and got access to some of the best resources in the game that are only accessible by saving little sisters. *WEAPONS* IGNORE THE PISTOL. The pistol shoots rolls of paper at your enemies and are as dangerous as the gentle blowing of butterfly kisses. Only usable in Easy and perhaps Normal Mode, but it gets terrible pretty quickly as enemies start to get more health and resistance. Chemical Thrower, yes please. It does a shit ton of damage to flesh targets, can stagger, ahem, let me repeat this, *CAN STAGGER BIG DADDIES TO DEATH ON THE SURVIVAL MODE.* And it is also useful in hacking turrets, sentry bots and cameras with its nitrogen burst. Just splooge a little nitrogen on them and they get instantly frozen, which will aid you in hacking. Also, Shotgun, the most useful weapon in the game, and the Crossbow will one-shot kill any Splicer with a headshot, no exceptions of game difficulty. *RESEARCHING ENEMIES* Research the shit out of everything. It is a good idea to camp a certain spot where Big Daddies walk little sisters, as the little sisters will always be different. This means you will upgrade your eve meter at the beggining of the game with a few snap shots and can probably max it out within 10/20 minutes of waiting. Also, Houdini splicers. RESEARCH THEM. Like MAKE IT YOUR TOP PRIORITY. AND NITRO SPLICERS. I'm a guy who has played this game on Survival without dying. I know what i'm talking about, trust me. :p I could've gone further but i think these are the most important things to know. Have fun out there, would you kindly?

I can definitely vouch for the “it won’t spoon feed you the plot”. I missed a lot of the main storyline because I couldn’t hear Atlas or Ryan over the bad guys making weird ass noises and combat sound effects (gunshots etc). I ended up just doing what the objective told me to do but not knowing why. I guess I should have changed the audio levels but holy shit this game was surprisingly hard to follow

It doesn’t matter on which difficulty you played, it matters whether you've enjoyed the game and it's story or not.

I always found it weird that the money counter went up to 4 digits but only went to 500

I love this game, but I honestly think the morality system is the weakest part. I am pretty sure that unless you are aiming for the bad ending almost everyone chooses to save the Little Sisters. And trust me, though the game stresses the importance of Adam, you don't need a ton of it because you are armed to the teeth right out of the gate and you get revive stations everywhere.

Love the Bioshock series, and don't have a least favorite game out of the three. But one thing I do not like for personal reasons in Bioshock 1 and 2...mostly 1, is the bees! D: As a person who has a fear of bees, when i saw the swarm of bees power up, i wanted to avoid it like the plague. And then that one moment in Bioshock 1 came...I have never screamed so hard when I accidentally released a swarm of bees and had them chasing after me. I love you, Bioshock series....but fuck your bees!

Most entertaining guide I've found. Never played any of the BioShock games, and just picked up the collection. You got me hyped!

I just got the good ending on medium and honestly I love it so much. May try to get the other paths but for now, I'm gonna cry over how awesome and wholesome the good ending is. Also, I love how the whole game is essentially a sci-fi movie from the thirties or fifties

I've had Remember Me in my backlog on ps3 for years and decided to try it. So I looked for some reviews and found a few including Do You Remember: Remember Me review by Super Butter Buns and loved it. I will never subscribe to a channel after one video but Super Butter Buns is the rare one in a million exception. The commmentary style is brilliant. Played this as a kid. Recently read a book detailing how Ryan built rapture, the characters within, and how it fell and became what we see in the game. I’m about the play it again now as an adult for the first time. And I am so so excited. Happy New Year, BUTTUH!!

Awww the security bots are so cute! XD i always laugh watching them fly into the walls, ceiling, objects, other bots (even tho i only had that happened once) but yeah as derpy as they are it's always useful to have one flying around you

Great Video! I was really good at bioshock 2's multiplayer but never took the time to be any of their story's until now, Tha KS for the tips

A tip for new players. Learn how the games systems interact and use them to your advantage. For example, you can hack health stations to make them cheaper and also kill heavily wounded splicers that try to use them. I once killed Steinman with one, talk about malpractice! Two. The best first weapon upgrade is the recoil reduction for the submachine gun because its the best thing for killing in arcadia, and still remains very useful most of the game. The pistol craps out fast though. Three, security bullseye turns alarms into a giant endless tide of rape on big daddies. And you can intentionally trigger alarms to use it. Also target dummy is good for distracting turrets as you hack them, also for luring a bunch of foes to an oil slick or a big daddy to the pile of exploding barrels and mines you stacked. That and electrobolt and crossbow headshot is amazingly powerful.

I try to tell people to play on easy at least once just to enjoy the story. People never listen. I actually really love hacking - but I played on PC. Console hacking is a pain because of having to swap the pieces. Waaaay more straightforward on a computer. Also everyone should take lots and lots of pictures once you get the camera.

Bought BioShock: The Collection and I basically am in love with this franchise. I played through this game 3 times, grabbing all achievements, and with so much new game plus...pluses. Can't wait to get into BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite.

OK, like several others I am multi years late. Well to be fair, I did buy BioShock when it came out. Even though I was a grown-up and scared the shit out of me and I didn’t finish it. I did finish number three. Anyway, it’s been on sale all three on Xbox at least every other month. $10 for remastered all three versions. Hell yes. Also, this is by far the best video to start this game I have watched. I am going to send it to my daughter because I bought the game for her and she’s too scared to play it and she’s a grown-up. The difficulty gap in this game is horrible. I beat the game on easy without dying once, on normal I died all the time.

What an awesome channel lmfao. I played the game on hard difficulty and struggled but eventually got use to it. Having to change between your plasmids and tonics at the right occasion is key. But damn did I hate the constant dying.

Normal isn't so bad, Easy might as well be normal while Normal is hard mode, and Hard and Survivor are for the masochist especially if they shut off the Vita Chambers (Anyone who beats the game on Survivor with only the Plasmids your given storywise, no tonics EVER, Is a God/Goddess among all to me, I mostly never go past Normal and honestly you get the protection of no instant kill just 1 HP endure till you take another hit with 1HP left giving you a chance to heal, which is shut off on Hard & Survivor) I only up difficulty for entertainment reasons as there's only so many times dying alot can make a game not fun especially with Bullet sponge enemies in the harder difficulty of this game whp can rip into YOU easily in seconds, higher difficulty deaths should be a fuck up on my part, not because of unfairness like Dark Souls is like, Games are about enjoyment and fun, not a dick measuring contest (I so have respect for high difficulty players, but have none for the egotistic ones who have to be rude and smug about it "yeah you beat the game on the highest difficulty, doesn't give you the right to inslut everyone else like your the king of the world because they enjoy an easier difficulty as long as people are having fun who cares"

I NEED HELP!!! I've been trying to beat this game for about two years now but Im struggling really badly (Just made to the tea gardern after meeting up with Atlas). I'm not really good at shooters in fact I suck at shooters but i refuse to play on easy or normal like a ....... Casual. I'm trying to stealth kill through most of my way but i need help with this. I've managed to get The two wrench tonics which help with stealth but that's just about it. Also got the camera and big daddy plasmid too. but its hard to sneak up on enemies to stealth kill them. ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME OUT WITH ADVICE OR ANYTHING! I really want to finish this game and play Bioshock 2 and infinite but I like playing games in a chronological order... Plus I hear that the first game has I really cool plot and ending and I want to see it for myself So im pleading to anyone for help that is not Git Gud or something. I just picked up the game last week. I started on Normal, the difficulty mode slightly "harder" than easy, but unless this is your first time playing a first person shooter, Normal is easy enough. I'm constantly having 9/9 EVE and First aid kits. As for rescuing or harvesting the little sisters, for the easier modes you should rescue them all

got the complete series on sale on steam this is my first play through super hyped!
