im not sure if anyone knows, but there was an oldish game (like 2007) for the xbox 360 called darkvoid that had an open world kinda like this, so with technology available now this definitely can happen, i guess we just have to wait and see, im stoked for this thoe!

This is one of the best presentations of E3 so far. I can only hope the final product will be near the quality of what they just showed. Only time will tell. And yes, it does evoke a bit of Horizon: Zero Dawn, Destiny, and even a bit of Evolve. That's probably why they had it labeled as "Project Dylan": It's a (hopefully) perfect fusion of some great game ideas/mechanics.

Resvrgam I understand but it's indicative of the overall direction Bioware is going for. I like the setting and the gameplay mechanics thus far. I'm sure the final product will look close to this. What I care about is the direction a company will go for in their game and this interests me.

I was a game designer for roughly a decade and I can tell you with some experience that what we're seeing is a lot of smoke & mirrors and not 100% indicative of what we'll be playing come launch. It's a deceptive promotional practice with which I wish the BBB would crack down.

The fact that BioWare(the team that made Mass Effect 1,2 and 3 NOT ANDROMEDA) have been working on this for almost 5 years in crazy! It's turned out great and I can't wait to see more game play and more news about it! This was the biggest thing I was excited about during E3. This looks stunning and I can't wait to get my hands on this. Here's hoping a ps4 can handle it but I'm sure it can

this is probably going to be downgraded as usual. nowadays every company follows the same strategy. make an amazing looking E3 demo, then, when the game comes out, downgrade the hell out of it.. mass effect andromeda looked amazing at the E3 demo back in the days... now that it is out, we can all agree that it did not live up to expectations.i REALLY hope this game comes out as amazing as it is shown in the demo

I hope so, but not to hate. Destiny had a monopoly on the console MMO FPS hybrid genre. With Anthem coming out as competition, it will force Bungie to really up their game and deliver cutting edge content with Destiny 2. I'll play both on PC either way, so have no stakes in which wins or loses. Competition for top dog in the market typically results in better content though.

This looks like the combination between Iron Man and the movie Avatar about the blue aliens and I mean that in a good way. The game looks gorgeous and the game play looks fun. I wonder if it will keep replay value.
