Real good idea I will try it. Started using blending in back ground makes a big difference.

What a great trick! I use blue tape in watercolor, but I never would’ve thought to use it for acrylic.

2 questions. 1. What colors did you use for the background? 2. What type of tape did you use? I'm surprised it didn't rip the paint off.

this was a long time ago, i dont remember what i used for the background sorry :( the tape is scotch blue painters tape
