"The Tornado is a very impressive machine but it wont go down the Bakerloo line"... EPIC

One of the greatest duos to have graced the stage. Shone a light of truth on many disquieting issues with a wit and humour that has me smiling through gleaming eyes. RIP John Fortune.

I remember back in 99 getting the Bowman and being one of the first to try it. It was so much of an improvement on Clansman. Clansman had a range of shouting and the batteries lasted a hour. Bowman had the range of yelling...but the battery died instantly.

I've met John many times, he used to get petrol from the garage I worked in on Reigate heath, Surrey. Wonderful person. Miss working there, all gone now. Cheers

I’m tempted to say that these sketches write themselves. They’re not comedy, or even satire. They’re just the honest truths the government and the military have known for years, but kept quiet about. HOWEVER, the delivery is epic.

John Simpson, as referrenced, is indeed the BBC correspondant who "liberated Kabul."

Really hilarious. I saw the wooden A400 at the Farnborough airshow in 1994. (Plywood most likely, not balsa.)

The sad irony is the government get ripped off in procurement. Things cost way more than they should, the defence industrial complex know who their customer is and how to rip them off.

Remember the show is called 'Bremner, Bird & Fortune' and they appear in about half of it. Also, all of these are ad-libbed, believe it or not, that is why they are so hilarious.
