My budgie nibbles, bunts my finger and dances with her feathers puffed up to shows how much she loves me. It's so cute and I loves when she does that. ❤🐦🥰👍❤💯

My little Shuri often bumps her beak against my nose and makes this little “chrrr” noise, along with cooing sounds. It’s so cute, I love her so much.

Budgies have 3,000 feathers on their little body. You definitely can tell how they are feeling by the sounds they make. I love their soft happy chirps. When they are upset they can scold you or another budgie. Budgies are full of personality. Great little birds!😊

my budgie is such a little goofball lol, she loves climbing on her cage walls, (dw she has plenty of space btw) she likes to randomly land on my head when i least expect it, and sometimes while preening she'll get the occasional feather up her nose 😭😂

Beak crunching is another sign that they are satisfied and content. We usually see this at the end of the day when they have gone back to their cage for the evening.

I think my bird doesn’t like me anymore.. She hides in her tent when I go near the cage, when she used to make noise and follow me inside the cage, she doesn’t want to go outside, when she used to want to be out and near me all the time, she only goes out to eat when I change her food, or she jumps on me and nibbles and bites me hard. I tried to redirect her attention to toys which she used to love playing with, but now she ignores them and keeps biting my hand. She only shows interest in millet. I haven’t been able to give enough attention due to my mental health and now she’s scared and hates me…

Hey bird nuggets, my bird recently became depressed people our past budgie died... I usually never had this about old age, our first had an disease because he was diagnosed but I don't know which, I wanted to ask if we can buy a new bird of a new age. My pet surviving now is wanting someone to play with but we are busy, he doesn't bite really. But just wondering if we can

i was trying to make my bird stand on my finger but he wasnt standing i got angry and grabbed him now he has lost trust and getting scared 😢

It’s important to let them adjust at thier own pace. Each birdy is different and needs their own rules. Start by just setting your hand near them, let them get used to it. Trying holding some millet in your hand, the bird will associate you with treats and this can help build trust. Express your love to them, say “good job!” Or “well done, you got it!” With lots of positivity in your voice, they’ll feel happy if they feel you’re happy, y’know? When I praise my little budgie, she fluffs her cheek feathers up, which means she knows she did good! Be patient, they’ll get to know you and in time I’m sure you’ll bond. Avoid grabbing them, if possible. It is very scary to them, when a big hand scoops them up. When my birdy needed medicine, I had to wrap her in a towel to give it to her. I learned to make it short and easy, so she didn’t get scared, but it’s something I try to avoid unless absolutely necessary.

Sometimes that's how they are or maybe it their personality, but. You have to spend more time with your budgie and find out what he wants. Only you can figure this out. It took me years to learn and properly care for my one budgie.
