We were in that area decades ago and did the Amish Buggy ride. Nice to see that the have that. Would love to try that white birch beer.

The Amish ride is the way to go for touring the area. They had a train that gave tours of the area too. The weather was perfect on the day that we went on the ride. Jennifer is still talking about the white birch beer and the boys enjoyed it as well. Thanks

I love visiting the Amish areas of our country. I love shopping there...and most of all I love eating there. Their farms and homes are immaculate...and beautiful. Hope ya'll have a great weekend! God bless!

We really enjoy the area as well. Have you tried Shoefly pie before? Next summer, we plan to visit Holmes County in Ohio and visit some more of Amish country now that we know that boys enjoyed it too. We hope that you had an excellent weekend, Cathy! God bless.

The Amish shops are always so fun to look around in. We visited this store on our last visit to Lancaster. You always see the bus tours coming to these different stores that are a bit out of the way. We had to try the pretzels there too. David is also a fan of the Birch Root beer. The locals will correct you if you call it Lan-caster instead of LanK-a-stir. Beautiful footage from the buggy ride. We were hoping to get up there over Labor Day but it didn't work out. Hopefully we will visit again soon. Nice video!

Oh wow! What a cool place to eat at! This looks so awesome. The bird feeders are cute! The food looks lovely! I want to try both the sour cream and onion and the garlic one haha! I looove pretzels! Glad the mustard to dip is also delicious! The chocolate pie looks good but I would probably need to take off the icing or take less of it too. Looks like another great day!! 😊thanks for bringing us!!

The pretzels here were the best we've ever had. The chocolate shoefly pie was good but just the regular shoefly pie is what we enjoyed the most. This was a really fun area to travel to. We really appreciate you guys for watching and hope that you're having a great weekend.

That is true and in some sects of Amish, it’s forbidden. When we got off of the buggy ride, several other people asked him if he was ok with taking a picture and he agreed that he was ok with taking pictures, so we asked to take one as well. Oh there is nothing like an amish soft pretzel and their bake goods. Chocolate shoefly is my favorite 😍. You should go to the little league world series , it is few hours away from there .

The soda is pronounced K uu t z tow n. Kuutz is like cuts town. hope that helps. It's a German word.

how long did it take you to drive from your nashville area?

Great question, Michelle. We ended up flying into Baltimore, MD and driving about 1 1/2 hours north. I (Brent) own a business that really took a big hit during the pandemic. The business requires me to do a lot of traveling and I had several flight credits that were extended from 2020 until September 9th of 2022 so we had to pick a place to visit before the flight credits expired.
