It can be, but where did the bird get a disease that targets humans from? It likely isn't social with wild birds.

Don't get me wrong. A disease can obvious spread from a bird to a human, especially with interactions as shown in this video. My point is just, that these are singular cases, and not how diseases spread further. Whatever the kid might have gotten, whether she experience symptoms or not, is incredible unlikely to be spread to others.

@@nicechock Exactly. We have a 27 year old umbrella cockatoo that we've had since he could first eat on his own. We are his family; he has no contact with other birds, hence he cannot carry diseases from other birds. A bird can't transmit a disease it doesn't have. Comments like @rajmathew6220 are complete uneducated nonsense.

i also came in for this bird video. omg she is truly reckless, what if that bird pull out the wrong tooth? i can't really praise the parrot or the girl to indirectly encouraging her or other people doing this stupid sh!t. how old is she to be so immersed in making her own reckless videos. i think youtube or any other social medias should prevent small kids to upload any videos to stop them from doing crazy content just for video views. these kids will get addicted to digital acknowledgement rather than living their proper life. social media without proper control really will destroy many people's lives. her parents are also at fault for not reducing her exposure to social media at such a young age.

We have a 27 year old umbrella cockatoo that is far smarter than the majority of people that post KZfaq comments. I would absolutely trust it to understand the problem and do its best to help in the most gentle way possible. But some people can't just accept a cute video for what it is, and have to try and find bad things where there are none to be found. It's just a cute, sweet, innocent video. Nothing more. In other words, "lighten up, Francis."
