A good friend once told me that each individual Oriental Magpie-Robin sings a different tune. Since then, I have paid special attention whenever I chanced upon them singing. They are indeed accomplished singers, belting out their own unique tunes, regardless of when or where they are.

What a lovely compilation! My favourite composer! 😊 I am used to seeing them from far away when they're singing. And when they are close they are as quiet as can be. Thanks to you I got to see close-ups of them singing. 😊 Your captions were delightful, Eagle-eyes! Loved them. Loved the video!!! 😊

The magpie robin near my home sings like a kindergarden english teacher spelling alphabets 🤣, the song is so unique I cant find it in youtube, someoneplease reply if they heard the same tune.

I have been birding for about 2 yrs now. Am happy to let u know that this species is doing quite ok! You can actually find quite a number at Botanical Gardens, Tampines Ecogreen, Jurong lake gardens... Thank you for watching!😊

I read that It used to be the most common bird in sg, but numbers were greatly reduced due to competition from Javan Mynahs
