Well... That dratted pheasant notwithstanding, getting the Bay Owl made the trip a total success imo! I have not been able to even hear it. And the Grass Owl, also, a very good Owl-collection you got there :-) What did you say, 43 Lifers? On 6 days? That's a *very* decent percentage, bcs you have seen many birds in India already.

Many thanks for such a lovely comment. Bay owl was one of my targeted bird for this trip other than Grey-peacock pheasant and white winged duck. We heard the pheasant and saw duck in flight. Yes, I got 43 lifer in this trip. :)

Man! 79 species in a day is a peak day for a birder! Congratulations! And India is so good with such wide variety of birds. Really colorful and beautiful! Hope I too will have such birding trips!
