Birdfy Feeder Lite from NetVue Review

My children bought me a Birdfy Feeder for Christmas. It's been up about a week now and it's working as advertised. Very happy with it so far.

I bought one and found out the squirrels love it. Someone at Birdfy told me that squirrels would stay away if I you used cayenne pepper. They loved this pepper. I use the siren and the squirrels jump down but return within a minute. The overall result is few birds and obese squirrels.

Sounds typical. I’ve never had any success with hot peppers. I do have a video on how I keep the squirrels off my feeders. Pretty effective. Look in the playlist, for the birds. Good luck

@@LSatch ..we are very much alike…lol…my koi pond and birds…lol…especially the western bluebird…I had 10 today at the feeder loving their mealworms…lol

I used a 128 the card and it took several tries before the app would recognize and format the card. My only other complaint was my wife got it as a gift and I find nothing on box or documentation that identifies it as lite or AI... All set up and waiting for birds

Does anyone know if I could install a cage around this thing to prevent the larger birds from coming in and devouring the bird seed in 3 seconds flat lol

I have 5 gig wifi and mine doesn't work 😞.

It won’t work on 5g. You need to have 2.something, I’ve forgotten but I have 5g as well but I also have 2.something too. My only suggestion for you is to look in your WiFi settings for 2.? and call or contact support, they are very helpful. Please let me know if that helps

Maybe you just need to try and contact them and let them know how it's working for you and that you're not on Facebook but you are on KZfaq and people are watching not to threaten them but to help them say maybe you need to go back to the drawing board on the identification and give them an update on how good the camera is and everything so or maybe they can tell you some options on why it would not be identifying them correctly hope it works out!!!

Great advice Beverly. I found the feedback part of the app and gave them my feedback. In doing so it also sends the picture so if I’m wrong I’m sure they’ll let me know. I moved it yesterday afternoon and they haven’t found it yet. I’m mainly putting it in the garden for the bluebirds. They’ve never been here this time of year and I want the to be fed and feel welcomed here.
