In this series of videos I will explore different locations of the Saswad Grassland and look for the rich biodiversity this vast place has to offer. the primary motive is to track and photograph the topmost predator of the grassland The Indian Grey Wolf. This place however has wonder around every corner of it. this particular video has closeup shots of different bird species, Indian Gazelle and Bengal Fox.

Your videos are stunning, Soumyajit, and so is your knowledge of Wildlife. Made me subscribe your channel and this is the 6th consecutive episode of yours I'm watching (Latpanchar, Vigwan, Bharatpur, Barsey, Mahananda done😅)! I'm curious to know did you use a tripod for shooting videos? The telephoto footages are very stable, although I couldn’t see a tripod you carrying.
@soumyajitmistry
@soumyajitmistry 3 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the appreciation. Yes, I do carry a tripod for filming, its a must have, but birds/ animals won't always give you enough time to set the tripod, so sometimes I shoot handheld too and stabilize the footages in post.

I hope the people of india will reduce their population so plants and animals have a chance to survive in the future
@surajbiradar9827
@surajbiradar9827 9 ай бұрын
I agree.. But despite its population density india has been able to conserve and increase majority of its wild fauna and flora. Especially the big cats. This is due to the tolerance shown by village folks despite enduring some human animal conflict.

@@surajbiradar9827 22 species have gone extinct there which is a lot plus there is hasn't been strict rules for people introducing animals from other countries in India which has also had its affects.

@@rnldmanuel88 There are more species saved like the tiger, Asiatic lion, one horned rhino, blackbuck, swamp deer(barasingha), gharial, indian gazzelle, Asiatic wild water Buffalo, sangai deer and pigmy hog to name a few. But there are some major extinction like Asiatic cheetah, javan rhinoceros which happened before independence. And I am not sure what you are referring here with "introducing animals from other countries" I don't recall any invasive species that has come to india.
