In this 1st of 2 videos on our 'Birding Wisdom' journey, we meet Francis Willughby and John Ray, two of the most influential naturalists from the 17th century. These much revered men jointly began a journey that changed how we record birds forever. We visit their homes, learn about their lives and pay our respects by travelling to where they have been laid to rest.

Fantastic video Rich - S2SBirda is all about quality over quantity when it comes to content so I shouldn;t worry about taking time out - this video and undoubtedly Part 2 is testamenet to the quality you bring. This was a really interesting video - thank you for the effort now.............................................. lets get this bloody interviews done! Your Subs want it. ;-) Brilliant info on Woolaton hell btw - I've been tens of times and didn't know half of it!!

What an excellent way of informing us of your research project and what a subject to undertake. Are you going to produce a form of book on this subject?

Writing a book isn't on my immediate agenda, mainly because of time, who know's maybe sometime in the future. Thanks so much for your continued support and feedback.
