There are some beautiful voices out there at present...this girl is well worth taking note of... Google any song by JASMINE LAMPORT........"WHY?" is erm...INTERESTING to say the least...slightly unique!!

not only her voice but she is also a beautiful piano player, taught from her mum who's a concert pianist Birdy doesn't just bash out a tune she plays properly listening to the harmonics of the piano & has a special touch that gives hard notes & soft as & when they should be & when combine her perfection of playing piano with her amazing voice, she brings us very beautiful music indeed

It is because "live" is not "live". Just check out every "live" version on youtube. always sounds the same. playback at its best.

@@viniciusg4386 Thats what i mean. It always sounds 100% the same as in the studio version. I found an example of her singing live, with LOTS of reverb to cover that she does not sing so well and im sure there is some kind of autotune going on as well. Andres Sini No matter which way no matter what she does it matter who she sings with or doesn’t like you said damn she’s got it and I love the way she says her name if you didn’t hear it go to the front of it and listen she’s so cute and little I look back on one of the first song she was singing and I look at her and you can see the changes she’s a beautiful little character and she doesn’t even try I love her to death I could sit and listen listen listen

She might not be looking at the drummer, in any certain way. She can be just staring at the blank. In a good sense. It's what a lot of times happens when the artist's soul "travels" along with the interpretation of the song. It's like looking at the crowd up from the stage , but seeing no one in particular.

I only heard this song in July 2023 for the first time at the end of a movie, can't remember the movie, I fell into a soul floating feeling, this is truly a well sung beautiful soulful song, the way she sings it is breathtaking❤

I commented on a post yesterday about a Canadian man who ran for charity to raise money for cancer with a prosthetic leg. At the age of 22 he died of the exact thing that made him run. He raised 22.4 million. People like him hit you, she is no exception. EMOTIONS
