Hi Sir, you both nailed the ev experience. Even we dropped the plan to go for ev like what all questions were asked we too had the same question in our mind, and the user honestly spoke about his experience which is very informative. But one thing I noticed is none of the automobile reviewers shared their hill station experience and what all difficulties they faced. If those were also posted the it would be very much informative.

In the video, you mentioned not to charge EVs below 20% or above 80%. Does this advice apply to both slow charging at home and fast charging outside?

no. it takes more time to charge from 80-100%. so we can avoid that when we r travelling. home charge, u can charge upto100%. in fact tata recommends charge upto 100% once in a week. i personally charge upto95% in home charging. coz regen wont work at 100%. once in 15 days i charge fully 100%

Sir, we are missing one point, batterly life is max of 7 yrs after which we need to either buy new battery or sell it for throw away price. we can put 3 lacs in good bank which will yield 2000 Rs which can be used for petrol/month. In summary, better to go for IC engines

It seems you are not fully aware of the battery technology. A battery life is calculated based on its charging discharging cycle. A typical EV car lithium battery will easily last for a minimum of 3000 cycles at 100% which means this 35kw battery car can last for a minimum of 250*3000 which is 7.5 lakh kilometres. Even after that the battery will not die instantly. It will come down to 20% which means your range will come down by 20%. Mind you battery technology is evolving and its just a beginning. Already battery prices have dropped by 14%. In another 8 years it will come down still further. So an EV car is any day a better bet simply because it has no moving parts and can last for a minimum of 15 years without any issue. Our mindset has to change. Of course it's changing for many.

Sir, Whenever you try to get customer usage experience or your detailed drive reviews henceforth can you give us practicality reviews as far as Hills region usages which is missing in most of the videos.. Yes we can easily understand in plsins but handling experience in hills is highly required to conclude your reviews Hence the real scope of the recommendations nor justification will add value to the customer..

I just found my car tyres are changed from bridgestone tyres to old goodyear tyres. I have not left my car any other place than Tafe Tata service centre. Most people don't check this but I recommend taking pictures cross check this part. I have no strong evidence this is the place where my tyres are changed but I have no other options where this could have happened. Posting this comment just for awareness.

Good review bro. But one doubt though. I get it that when we charge ev during 20% - 80%, charging speed is good. At 8.40 minutes in this video, you had mentioned that max capacity of punch ev is 27.3 kwh and if we use 60 kwh it will consume only 27 kwh and if we use 24 kwh it will consume only 22 kwh. But when checked in google, punch ev's top model has 35 kwh battery only and I am not sure 60 kwh battery pack is available as add-on. Were you referring to 60% of battery charge as 60 kwh in this video?

hi, punch ev battery capacity is 35 kw. what i mentioned there is charging speed, which measured as kw per hr. punch charging speed is max 27 kwh. if you charge the car for an hr, u will get 27kw of battery backup.

Indeed, I concur with his points. Yet, in the event of a battery failure, I can't risk resorting to the black market for safety reasons. What then would be the cost of replacing the battery? If it's around half the price, say 7 lakhs, it wouldn't be overly burdensome for an 8-year-old vehicle. However, I anticipate challenges regardless. What are your thoughts on this?
