We take a special tour around Villa Park, home to football club Aston Villa F.C. It has been their home stadium since 1897. At a capacity of over 42,000 it is, at the time of writing, the 10th largest football stadium in England.
The four stands are the North Stand, Doug Ellis Stand, Holte End and Trinity Road Stand. Sir Doug Ellis was the chairman of Aston Villa from 1968 to 1975, and again from 1982 to 2006. The Holte End is named after Sir Thomas Holte who arranged the building of nearby Aston Hall in the 17th century.
HOW TO GET TO THE STADIUM:
The stadium is located in the ward of Aston, just north of Birmingham city centre. The nearest train station is Witton (accessible via Birmingham New Street), a quick five-minute walk away. Here's a map for reference: goo.gl/maps/pMB3uVr62TFW2GF68

Welcome to anyone new to the channel! I do mostly 4K walking tours of town and city centres, although I'm aiming to document every football stadium in the Premier League in videos like this!
