As an American who dreams of visiting Stockholm this was refreshing. I can’t wait to visit Sweden one day but I do hear ( from other Americans maybe that’s why your experience is different ) that Swedes are incredibly cold. To many Americans they seem incredibly reserved so it was nice to hear another visitor say Swedes were friendly and spoke to strangers. Not gonna lie that makes me nervous to visit even though I know their culture is different and being reserved is viewed as polite vs in America it’s really frowned upon and seem as really rude. Loved this video!

Yes, go girl! I love that you tried to travel by yourself and found that you can cope with it, no, not just cope with it but also like it a lot. Travelling alone means you have to deal with yourself and your image of yourself and other people's image of someone who eat dinner alone. And I think you have discovered all that. I do like to travel with friends but most of all I love travelling by myself. I really like to have it in my own way, in my own pace and to be more focused on what I experience walking around. It's just me and the city, the situations, the sights and the people. And it's very nice to explore the city even if I sometimes get lost and find unexpected views and people. Travelling by yourself is about finding yourself and interresting places and people. Really like first part of your visit in Stockholm and I will check your second part when I can. Love this for you. I am a big proponent of solo traveling. I have traveled to parts of Asia and Europe by myself and it really is an empowering experience. First off I loved your vlog!!! I’ve always wondered about Sweden and now I’m going to add it to my list. Secondly, kudos and hats off to you for taking a solo trip by yourself. I’ve been traveling by myself for a while now, but last year was my first trip to Europe by myself. And I got to say it was the best experience of my life and now I can’t even imagine not taking any more trips if not by myself. Also, I had to give you more props, because when you were explaining how people were looking at you while you were eating, I had the same feeling. I just kept eating and drinking my wine and not giving a shit either.😅😅😅😅 In fact, when I was in Europe,nobody even stared at me that I noticed. It’s only in the US where I get looks from people those that say like you stated, why are you sitting by yourself. And you are correct it is an empowering feeling and it makes you feel confident. I hope you continue to take solo trips 😊😊

Ahhh a wonderful video my sister & you're so sweet! Well done on your solo adventure & you did really well & have also inspired me. How funny, because I'm the total opposite & have always been so used to my own company & to being alone. I guess much of the time growing up, I was forced to do much alone & yeah, I just got used to this way of life. It's so normal for me. I do like people & really enjoy socialising, but outside of busy social circles & when in groups, it's not easy for me to connect deeply 1 on 1 & to make long term friendships. I'm off to Sweden & Norge end of this year, so I'm feeling very excited, as it's my first time ever visiting this part of the world & seeing snow for the first time up close. Yeahhhh! In ref to Swedes, I won't lie, I have felt quite nervous, as I've been told by "many" that Swedes are aloof, standoffish, aren't very friendly @ all & actually are very cold toward foreigners. I was even told, that there's a famous Norwegian author, who wrote a book regarding this very topic. lol As I come from a warmer part of the world, it will be cold & I have never seen proper snowfalls, so this should be awesome for me.
