Our daughter was also born on April 7th.. of 2021 but unfortunately she was a stillborn. Later we found out that it was a placental insufficiency caused by my CoVid infection. Your daughter is so beautiful, please cherish every moment you have with her. I wish you all the best!

1. I too got upset at my husband during labour with the back pressure, but because it's all that helped me and he complained (towards the end... like 36hrs of labour before epidural and csection after 42hrs of labour) that his hands were tired and he just wanted to eat!! Definitely had to go through some forgiveness after. 2. I love how Zach knew what you did and did not want done, and his heart towards protecting that. Really shows he has your back through it all. 3. Im so surprised the midwife did the episiotomy so rushed! they are usually sooo against them unless its dire, and they talk and explain every step and alternative option. im shocked she did it without letting you know, especially if your baby had tolerated the whole process so far! But you are both good and well, and that's what matters.

Omg she is beautiful and mom you did amazing! How did the hospital handle Zach being deaf? Like do you think they did their best to accommodate him as well to like include him and everything? I hope this makes sense and isn't insensitive. I always wonder how hospitals deal with different things.

She is so beautiful! I sympathize with last minute changes to your birth plan. I suffered from a lot of extra amniotic fluid my last trimester and ended up having to take my maternity three weeks earlier than planned. I also had gestational diabetes but had negative tests when we tested for it so I did end up with a huge baby that at our last monitoring ultrasound sound our daughter was estimated at 11lbs 12 oz! We had been working with a midwife and planing for a home birth but due to circumstances of risk and size of our daughter a vaginal delivery even in Hospital was not gonna be a possibility. We met with our team at local hospital where we live to plan for our scheduled C-Section but due to fact that hospital didn’t have highest NICU but but sister hospital in another town about 20 minutes away from us did..they moved our surgery date and location to that hospital. Which in roundabout way we are grateful for as in event something did happen we weren’t gonna be separated. I was nervous and excited on our drive to hospital on surgery date. We likewise had a good experience with staff who really took their time and made us feel at ease. I had a spinal block instead of an epidural for my birth and same thing. It burned a little bit going into my spine and I was actually thankful I wasn’t having contractions as I have heard from some women that keeping your back taunt and still while they are needing to put a needle in certain spot is so hard. Thankfully no problems getting it in and our c-section went well! Our miracle daughter, Linda was born 1/14/2019 at 12:57pm. She was over 21 inches long and weighed 12lbs even! She had a ton of hair and screamed like the dickens when she made her debut! Today she is just over 15 months old and thriving! Wishing the two of you and your little girl thriving good health and to soak up every milestone and moment with your daughter. Our daughter is my Husband’s second daughter/child and my first and oh man time is whizzing by! Enjoy each day as it’s so precious! God bless!
