Happy belated Birthday Tina! It looks like you had a great one. Well deserved. The 2 major items on my bucket list are the riding safari in Africa and surf camp in Costa Rica! So exciting that you surfed and bought a wet suit for more surfing!!! Super envious but delighted for you! Everything looked like tons of fun with nice people and adorable animals!

Great blog enjoyed watching surfing use to do it when I was young.tip for getting wet suits on easier us talc n powder goes on easier. So glad banks is 100% again.😀😀🏄‍♀️🏄‍♀️

Loved it Tina what a fantastic birthday long weekend! Glad you had a great time - lots of fun, cake, friends, drinks and ponies. What more could you ask for? You also always show Cornwall so beautifully. When I was small we holidayed mostly in Devon or Bognor (we live in Dorset can you tell lol) but did go to Cornwall once as a family. We stayed in Mullion and it was where I went for my first ever beach ride. It was also where I went for my most recent holiday 10 years ago 😂 stayed in Perranporth and visited Newquay. I do love Cornwall it makes me feel like I want to go!

When I go surfing !! Think of the big waves as a very big horse respect it and go with it !! do not do it for long to start with as it hurts !! Go one line for the wet suits, they are more reasonable as long as you know your size. There is with foil or without.. Foil is for colder water!! Had my board for ever can not help you with that, but gone through a few wet suits.. Happy Birthday!!! Hope it was a good one !! Both Of You were**** Brilliant well done for the content.. Good to see you having Fun together.. Oh yes !!! do not go surfing with big waves when the tide is going out as you can get caught in a rip tide.. Only when the tide is coming in !!! Coz we know eventually you will want to ride the big ones !!!!

I used to come to Cornwall every other summer as a kid- my dad grew up in St Ives and my relatives live in Perranporth. My profile photo is of the beach at sunset there when we last visited in 2015 . I absolutely love it there and miss it hoping to visit as soon as International travel opens up!! You videos always bring back lovely memories of beach vacations and the Cornish countryside.

I’ve been to St Ives, Polperro, and Newquay. I’m kinda of hoping that my Hubby is thinking this way for my big birthday next year. Not sure what you can do in January but whatever it will be amazing. Glad you have had a lovely Birthday and you enjoyed the surfing 🏄🏻‍♀️

Used to go to Perranporth back in the day (about 35 years ago) and took my kids to Bude. Love Cornwall but hate the long journey and the A303 !

Visited Cornwall for years and we normally stay on a lovely campsite near st Agnes, but my favourite beach is godrevy x and I had my first surf lesson at perranporth! Glad you had a fab birthday!

What a fantastic vlog🙂. I have some happy memories belly board surfing in Perranporth and North Devon - I was too chicken to stand up surf. You & Emily did really well. To combine both interests, I know some people take their animals surfing - Banksy is too large ... but ... maybe Dinks?🤔 🙂🙂 So glad you had an amazing birthday - you deserved it. The closest I've ever been to Cornwall is when I was in Coleraine, Northern Ireland. Also the closest ocean to where I live is probably minimum 9-10 hours drive unless you count the Great Lakes, which are around 5 hours drive. It's so pretty there and the puppies are so cute! Glad you had a fun birthday!

We spend every October (and some July's) staying near wadebridge, we surf the north coast beaches (Constantine bay and the others close by) and swim the south ( bays from close to Fowey to Par)

The area you live in is gorgeous, but can’t believe you can wear a knitted hat and jacket in July! I’m in the US (New Jersey) and we are sweltering all day every day in summer! 😓

@@LifeontheLeftRein You've got "the stoke" now so it's all practise 😅 Look up (not down at your board), always take 2 extra paddles than you think you need and push with your leading foot to get more speed once you're up! I think you did super well xo

I love Cornwall!! Very fortunate to only live in Somerset (not far from ponitspool) so come down quite a lot! Don’t feel I count as a tourist as still have a West Country accent hahaha😂 we go to St Agnes mostly which is just beautiful but have been almost everywhere! Really recommend Piran Surf in perranporth for wetsuits and surfboards!

I went surfing with my brownies like 2 years ago and after we didn’t even get food and me and me and my friend love food and didn’t get any after and we were so hungry
