Bishop, California is more than a Bakery Stop!

Күн бұрынI recently met a friend in Bishop and stayed for a few days. Little did I know how many beautiful lakes surrounded this family and tourist friendly community. From museums to affordable eating, don't just drive though Bishop, stop and play!

FYI, Schat's Bakkery bakes EVERYTHING at the location in Bishop! I know this for a fact, I work there! Saying we do not process food here is COMPLETELY WRONG! Visitors come in to get their goodies and are very happy. I get my items, and I'm very happy! Putting out bad info is wrong.

I love it. All my childhood and adult life I've enjoyed convict lake. Love the law Museum too. So many churches . The home st. Church has the view of the mountains directly showing behind the pulpit. From your pew , you can see the majestic snow covered mountains.

Schat’s bakery is overrated. Tourist trap. Most locals go to the Great Basin bakery on the south end of bishop. I’m-was a bishop local. June lake is 1.3 hours away from bishop. Convict lake is about 30 mins

Been stopping at Schat's for over 50 years, for only one thing: the Sheepherder bread. That alone is worth it, whether it's tourist-trappy or not.

I have no idea what people see in shats bakery! They do not process most their food at the bakery anymoreThey send out for it.
