People get angry, nervous, and apprehensive when you talk Holiness in the form of dress. We want to give God our hearts but not our bodies. EVERYTHING that you are belongs to God. Holiness is STILL right!

Sanctification is a process, it occurs on the INSIDE first. I could care less how a person dresses, I'm concerned about their heart. Some of the sweetest Christians I know are the ones who wear blue jeans to church. Those with them long dresses and skirts that sweep the floor be as mean as a rattlesnake. I believe in modest apparel, but being modest does not mean no make up, no jewelry, etc. Some of these women be looking a hot mess talking about they're "sanctified."

It has always been male pastors speaking about the problems among the women and not men. As a result, the men's problems are becoming as bold as the women's. Amen. I agree that a woman must dress modest and be a lady at all times but it takes the Holy Ghost to change you from the inside out. Man can tell you to dress a certain way but it will not stick with them unless God is purging that old life style out if them. Overall, great message.

When Moses wrote the 1st 5 books of scripture they were not in the "bible" in his day but they were still written down. God wrote 10 of His commandments in stone on Mt Sinai before pen and paper were used to record the scriptures. The bible says, the grace of God has appeared to ALL men! Therefore, no one will have an excuse, whether blind, deaf or lame. Everyone will have the opportunity to get SAVED! Also, the bible say God has mercy on whom He will; whether blind or not.

We are not under the old covenant but the New Covenant which is by Jesus Christ! Under the New Covenant, if things are changed then we go by the New not the Old. I agree there are things in the Old that we must still obey. But Apostle Paul said 'it's a shame for a man to have long hair' so that's what we live by! The Old doesn't override the New. Sampson's hair has no authority as to becoming doctrine nor a standard to live by.

Jesus was also a Nazarene. and men where allowed to have long hair. Sampson was one also. It was forbidden to cut their hair. they were consecrated by God. Set apart. look it up.

When Paul wrote to Timothy in his first letter (chapter 2:8-10), he told Timothy that the women should "adorn themselves in respectable apparel, with modesty, and self-control...not with braided hair, and gold or pearls or costly attire, but with what is proper for women who profess godliness--with good works" (ESV). Paul told the NT women how to dress. Why should it be different now, just because we're nearly 2,000 years later?

~ Its a preferential thing. Not all people at FGHT wear rings, some do. I think you can go overboard with anything including rings, therefore, there has to be a sense a modesty. There's no particular reason as to why they are worn.

Pt 2: You can't establish NT truth (about men wearing long hair) on the basis that Samson had long hair when Paul's teaching is NT; Samson is OT. You MUST believe Paul's teachings to be SAVED. John 17:14 "I have given them thy word..." John 17:17 "Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth" John 17:20 "Neither pray I for these alone, but for THEM ALSO WHICH SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR WORD"

The Spirit gives life to the letter! The Spirit doesn't override the letter nor does it eliminate the letter! The letter states its a shame for a man to have long hair. The Spirit will give you power to obey the letter by cutting your long hair! There are people all over this world and thousands who attend our church who love what we preach because it has brought deliverance to them! If you don't like it, it will not stop what we are doing, no offense!

The bible says the prodigal son, when he came back home, the father put a ring on his finger.. the story of the p. son is symbolic of many people who backslid yet came back to our Lord. I dont see anything wrong with a ring. I agree with you, a ring doesn't stop anyone from cheating etc. I dont agree with multiple rings on one hand, it's simply not modest! Also, exchanging bibles has never made anyone married!

If Its ashame for men to have long hair why was Jesus's hair long. Samson never put a razor to his head(of course of his own free will) and many others. Come as you are, God sees the heart and that's what matters at the end of the day. Although I still LOVE this type of preaching tho.

Every church should have a dress code because the BIBLE teaches a dress code for those who are SAVED. You can not be saved if you don't believe what JESUS taught as well as the apostles. Sancitification comes through Jesus by BELIEVING ON HIM AS THE SCRIPTURES SAYS!!!! My question is: What's right with men wearing earrings? Most ppl say they have a personal relationship with God. Therefore, did God give you the ok to wear earrings? What did he say when you prayed & fasted about that?

I am not a member of this church, I am however a born against Christian woman, filled with the Holy Ghost. When I first received the Holy Ghost it would speak to me and I would feel a check when something was inappropriate. I was so glad to be saved I wanted to hear every word from the Lord for me...and please him with obedience. Flesh is against God and does not want to obey..for those who have a desire to please God the negative opinion of others mean nothing.

PT 1: We arent saying jeans arent sanctified. I can wear jeans to church & that is ok. Sanctification doesnt change because there are women who wear dresses with bad attitudes. God's standard is not based on men! Whenever you base your belief on people & not on Gods word/standard then you have run into a stumbling stone. Our generation is less sanctified, more carnal and we have less power over sin, povefty & sickness.
